## What it does

A white frosted cake covered in lit candles rises up in front of your subject. They lean in, close their eyes and blow. As the flames go out, colorful confetti drifts down and they laugh.

## From our test

We tested it with a woman in a sequined top in a room with balloons, and the cake had piped white frosting and rainbow candles that she blew out in the final frames. The render took about 2 minutes.

## Tips for the best photo

- Waist-up photos leave space in front of you for the cake.
- Party settings with balloons or lights look natural, but any room works.
- Face the camera so the blowing-out moment is clear.

## Ideas for using it

- A birthday thank-you post after the party.
- A coworker's birthday shout-out in the team chat.
- A restaurant or bakery showing off its birthday cake service.

## FAQ

### Can I choose the cake design?

The effect adds a frosted cake with lit candles on its own. The flavor, color and number of candles aren't adjustable.

### Can I use a photo of a child for this?

No. People effects are for photos of adults only.

### Do I need to write a prompt for Happy Birthday?

No. Happy Birthday is a ready-made effect: upload a photo and press Generate. The directions for the motion, camera and lighting are already built in.

### How long is the Happy Birthday video, and how long does it take?

Every effect makes a 5 second HD video that matches the shape of your photo, portrait or landscape. Most are ready in one to three minutes, and you can leave the page while it renders.

### Does the video have sound?

Yes. Each clip comes with matching ambient sound effects. It does not add music, so you can lay your own track over it in any editor.

### Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
