## What it does

A calm indoor scene begins to rumble. Cracks race across the walls, the ceiling fan swings, and your subject staggers and looks around before things settle.

## From our test

We used a man in a gray t-shirt standing in a living room. Our first version was too gentle, so we rewrote the direction so the quake is violent and visible. In the final render the fan swings, cracks appear, and he staggers sideways. The render took about 3 minutes.

## Tips for the best photo

- Use an indoor waist-up photo with a ceiling, walls or shelves visible behind you.
- Stand squarely in the frame with arms relaxed.
- Avoid very empty backgrounds, since there is less to shake.

## Ideas for using it

- A creator makes a dramatic reaction clip for a storytime video.
- A game streamer posts a mock quake for a joke thumbnail.
- Friends send a prank clip with a fake disaster to a chat.

## The ground rumbles all around you

## Still looks like you

The video opens on your exact photo, so the face, hair, outfit and surroundings carry through the whole effect.

## Movie-style effects without editing software

Effects that used to mean compositing and particle work in an editor, rendered in one pass with lighting that matches your photo.

## How to make it

1. Upload a photo, or pick one from your library.
2. Press Generate. There is no prompt to write; the effect is already set up.
3. Your 5 second HD video is ready in a minute or two. Save it to your library or download it.

## FAQ

### Does anything fall on my subject?

Dust, cracks and swinging fixtures appear, but nothing is meant to hurt them. They brace and look around.

### Will the camera shake too?

Yes, the camera rattles along with the room, so the clip feels like a handheld shot in a real quake.

### Do I need to write a prompt for Quake Shake?

No. Quake Shake is a ready-made effect: upload a photo and press Generate. The directions for the motion, camera and lighting are already built in.

### How long is the Quake Shake video, and how long does it take?

Every effect makes a 5 second HD video that matches the shape of your photo, portrait or landscape. Most are ready in one to three minutes, and you can leave the page while it renders.

### Does the video have sound?

Yes. Each clip comes with matching ambient sound effects. It does not add music, so you can lay your own track over it in any editor.

### Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
