## What it does

You stand in a dim forest as a tall pointed hat appears on your head. You raise your hands, a thread of green light curls up between them, and by the end bright green magic and smoke spiral around your arms and body.

## From our test

Our sample was a woman in a black top among pine trees at dusk, and in the final frames green sparks and wisps of smoke wrap around her raised hands. It rendered in about 2 minutes.

## Tips for the best photo

- A waist-up photo gives your hands enough room to conjure the magic.
- Dark clothing matches the witch look and makes the green glow stand out.
- Low light or evening photos fit the nighttime mood best.

## Ideas for using it

- A Halloween costume reveal on Instagram Reels.
- A tarot reader or witchy shop promoting a fall event.
- A fantasy author teasing a new book release.

## Still looks like you

A costume-free Halloween look for posts, party invites and profile videos. Spooky and fun, never gory.

## FAQ

### Do I need to wear a hat in my photo?

No. The effect adds the pointed witch hat for you, so a bare head works best.

### Can I change the magic color?

No. Spell Cast always conjures green magic.

### Do I need to write a prompt for Spell Cast?

No. Spell Cast is a ready-made effect: upload a photo and press Generate. The directions for the motion, camera and lighting are already built in.

### How long is the Spell Cast video, and how long does it take?

Every effect makes a 5 second HD video that matches the shape of your photo, portrait or landscape. Most are ready in one to three minutes, and you can leave the page while it renders.

### Does the video have sound?

Yes. Each clip comes with matching ambient sound effects. It does not add music, so you can lay your own track over it in any editor.

### Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
