## What it does

3D Cartoon Character re-renders you as a character from a computer-animated movie: bigger eyes, softer features, sculpted hair, bright cinematic light.

## From our test

I tested a smiling woman with curly red hair and glasses in a cafe. The first version was too close to the photo, so I moved it to the stronger engine and pushed the style. The second came back as a clearly animated character with big eyes and sculpted curls, same glasses and earrings, in 51 seconds.

## Tips

- Front-facing photos with a smile turn out the most charming.
- Glasses, hats and earrings carry over, so keep the ones you want.
- Keep it to one or two people for the most faithful likeness.

## Ideas for using it

- An avatar for social media and gaming.
- Characters for a kids' story about your family.
- A cartoon version of yourself for a channel banner.

## How to use it

1. Upload your photo, or pick it from your library.
2. Press Generate. The look is already set up, so there is no prompt to write.
3. Your image is usually ready in under three minutes. Save it to your library or download it.

## FAQ

### Does it look like a specific studio's characters?

It is a general 3D animated look, not a copy of any studio's characters.

### Will my glasses stay?

Yes. In my test the glasses and earrings carried over.

### Is 3D Cartoon Character free?

Yes, to try. A free PixelDojo account gets 3 effects a day across Photo Effects and Video Effects, with a small watermark. Subscribers make as many as they like with no watermark.

### Who owns the result, and can I use it commercially?

We assign you whatever rights we hold in the result, so you can use it in your own projects, commercial ones included, as long as what you uploaded was yours to use. Unsaved results are deleted after 24 hours, so save the ones you want to keep.

### Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it, and only images you have the right to edit. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
