## What it does

Watermark Remover takes overlaid text marks, logos and repeating semi-transparent stamps off a photo and rebuilds what was underneath. It is meant for images you own, like your own photos that picked up an app watermark or an old export you lost the clean file for.

## From our test

I covered a harbor photo with a diagonal, repeating "SAMPLE PREVIEW" mark across every inch of it, the hardest kind to remove. It came back clean in 96 seconds: no ghost letters on the water, the boats and their reflections intact. One of the engines I tried first refused the job outright, so this tool runs on the one that did it well.

## Tips

- Upload the largest copy you have; small, heavily compressed files leave less detail to rebuild.
- Repeating marks are fine, but marks sitting right on a face or fine text are the hardest to rebuild perfectly.
- Check the edges of the frame afterwards, where stamps often sit.

## FAQ

### Can I remove watermarks from stock photos?

No. Only remove marks from images you own or have the rights to. A stock watermark means the image is licensed, so buy the license instead.

### Does it work on repeating watermarks?

Yes. In my test the mark covered the whole photo diagonally and every copy came off.

### Is Watermark Remover free?

Watermark Remover is included with every PixelDojo plan and costs a few credits per image, shown on the Generate button before you run it.

### Who owns the result, and can I use it commercially?

We assign you whatever rights we hold in the result, so you can use it in your own projects, commercial ones included, as long as what you uploaded was yours to use. Unsaved results are deleted after 24 hours, so save the ones you want to keep.

### Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it, and only images you have the right to edit. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
