Make Your Adventure Scene

$3,500in cash prizes · 8 winning films

One scene from an adventure film that doesn't exist.

Rules at a glance

  • There is no entry fee. Creating a film uses Pixel Dojo credits.
  • Enter as many eligible films as you like. Each must be a genuinely new film with its own approved gallery record.
  • There is no minimum view count.
  • Both submitted links must stay public until winners are announced.
  • Each film must come from the Pixel Dojo account that enters it and use one unique social post.
  • Do not buy, automate, exchange, or otherwise manipulate views or engagement.

Content and fair play

  • You need the rights to every voice, likeness, music track, image, clip, and other creative element in your film. Sharing to the Community Gallery shows the film was rendered and shared from your signed-in Pixel Dojo account. It does not grant you those rights.
  • Your film must be your original work, rendered from your own Pixel Dojo account. No reposts, no shared files, no entering a film someone else made.
  • No real public figures or celebrity likenesses, no copyrighted characters or brand mascots, and no music or footage you do not have the rights to use.
  • Nothing hateful, sexual, or deceptive. Standard Pixel Dojo content rules apply to every entry.
  • One account per creator. Bought, automated, or exchanged views and engagement disqualify the entry and the account.

Questions, answered

Do I need a large following or a minimum number of views?

No. There is no view minimum. Audience response contributes to the score, but creative merit is the largest factor.

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. Enter as many films as you like, but each must be a genuinely new film with its own approved gallery record. You cannot enter the same film twice. Any single film can win at most one cash award, but if you enter several strong films, different films can win different prizes.

Why do I need to share my film to the Community Gallery?

The Community record verifies that the film was rendered and shared from your Pixel Dojo account. It also gives the jury and community one reliable place to watch it.

What if my film is still in Community review?

You can enter after the film is approved. Community review is usually quick, and we watch the queue closely while a contest is open. If your film is stuck in review near the deadline, message us on Discord and we will make sure a review delay on our side never costs you your entry.

Can I edit outside Film Studio or use my own music?

Make the film in Film Studio. Light edits on top are fine: titles, captions, trims, and sound mixing. You need the rights to anything you add, including music. We judge what reaches the screen, not how you got there.

Is there an entry fee?

No. There is no entry fee. Creating the film uses Pixel Dojo credits. The first 50 creators to enter a qualifying film can claim 400 credits back on Discord.

Make the scene we cannot stop thinking about.

The rest of the film does not exist yet. Make one scene vivid enough that we wish it did.
