Google Veo 3.1 with native audio

Veo 3.1 AI Video Generator

Veo 3.1 turns one prompt into a cinematic scene with its own soundtrack, so a character can speak a line over the rain in a single 8 second clip.

Veo 3.1 is Google's text and image to video model. On Pixel Dojo it makes 4 to 8 second clips at up to 1080p in 16:9 or 9:16, and every tier generates sound with the picture. On Standard and Fast you can script dialogue, sound effects and ambience, or switch audio off for a silent clip. We made every clip on this page with it, and each one comes with the exact prompt so you can start from it.

96 credits ($6.00) per 8 s clip at 1080p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Medium close-up, slow push in. A lighthouse keeper in his sixties with a salt and pepper beard and a navy cable knit sweater stops polishing a brass lantern, turns to someone just off camera and says in a low, steady voice: "The storm turned north. We have one hour. Wake the others." Rain streams down the tall window behind him, warm lantern light on one side of his face against cold blue storm light, 35mm anamorphic lens, shallow depth of field, fine film grain. Sound: heavy rain on glass, a distant roll of thunder, the soft squeak of cloth on brass. No subtitles.

Veo 3.1 examples and prompts: what you can create

We made these clips on Pixel Dojo with Veo 3.1, sound on: a spoken scene, a rally chase, a claymation short, a coffee commercial and a canyon flyover. Five genres, one model. Tap Use this prompt on any tile to make your own version.

A dialogue scene with the sound built in. He stops polishing the lantern, turns and speaks his line over the rain, warm lantern glow on his face against a cold, rain streaked window. Start from this prompt for any talking character shot.

Motorsport action with real weight. The car slides through a wet gravel hairpin, mud fans off the rear wheels and the wet road mirrors the headlights, all in one low tracking shot. Start from this prompt for chase and vehicle scenes.

Low tracking shot at wheel height. A mud caked rally car with plain unmarked bodywork slides sideways through a hairpin on a wet forest gravel road, the rear wheels throwing a fan of mud and stones toward the lens, headlights cutting through low morning mist, pine trunks streaking past, telephoto compression, slight camera shake, high contrast teal and amber grade. Sound: roaring turbo engine, popping exhaust, gravel rattling against the camera housing.

Veo 3.1 Fast14.4 credits4 s1080p16:9Audio

Stop motion charm from a text prompt. A clay fox in a knitted scarf pulls warm loaves from a brick oven and turns to camera to say its line, with thumbprint texture in the clay and glowing bulbs behind. Start from this prompt for animated shorts and kids content.

Stop motion claymation, medium shot, locked camera. A small orange clay fox in a green knitted scarf pulls a tray of lumpy clay bread out of a tiny brick oven, sniffs it, and says proudly: "Perfect. Well, nearly." Visible thumbprint texture on the clay, felt curtains, warm tungsten practical lights, slightly stepped stop motion movement. Sound: an oven door creak, a cheerful plucked ukulele, a soft crackle of fire. No subtitles.

Veo 3.1 Fast14.4 credits4 s1080p16:9Audio

A beverage commercial in one clip. Cream pours into iced coffee and blooms down through the ice, condensation beads on the glass and amber backlight glows through the drink while the camera holds still like a studio product shoot.

Macro product shot, locked camera, slow motion. A thin stream of cream is already pouring into a tall clear glass of iced black coffee, blooming downward in slow marbled white clouds between the ice cubes, condensation beading on the cold glass, warm amber backlight glowing through the coffee against a deep charcoal background, 100mm macro lens, crisp commercial look. Sound: ice cubes clinking and cracking, the soft trickle of the pour, a low warm synth pad.

Veo 3.1 Fast14.4 credits4 s1080p16:9Audio

Landscape scale for travel and nature openers. The camera skims a turquoise river, tips over the lip of the falls and opens onto a canyon of black basalt columns with a rainbow in the spray, all in one continuous flyover.

Aerial drone shot, fast and low, gliding over a turquoise glacial river toward the lip of a thundering waterfall, then tilting down as the ground drops away to reveal a vast canyon of black basalt columns filled with mist at sunrise, a rainbow in the spray, wide lens, crisp documentary look, no drone visible in frame. Sound: rushing wind, the building roar of falling water.

One dance prompt on every Veo 3.1 tier

We ran the same crimson dancer prompt on Standard, Fast and Lite at 8 s and 1080p, plus a 4 s cut on Fast. Every tier kept the single shaft of light, the drifting haze and the red silk glowing against gray concrete, so you can choose a tier by budget and still get the look.

Standard, 8 s. The richest haze and the crispest silhouette of the set, with the skirt flaring into a full red arc under the top light.

Symmetrical wide shot, slow dolly in. A dancer in her thirties in a flowing crimson silk gown spins at the center of an empty raw concrete hall under a single hard shaft of white top light, the fabric flaring outward in a wide arc, dust drifting in the beam, deep shadows at the edges, 24mm lens, desaturated gray palette so the red dress glows. Sound: bare footsteps echoing, one sustained low cello note, the whoosh of silk.

Veo 3.176.8 credits8 s1080p16:9Audio

Fast, 8 s. The silk is already flaring in the opening frames and swings wide through the whole clip, and it pops at thumbnail size.

Lite, 8 s. The same staging, a soft glowing haze and its own soundtrack at the lowest price per clip, with the dress swirling out in a wide circle.

  • Standard gives the richest atmosphere and the cleanest silhouette. Use it for hero shots, close-ups and any clip where a character speaks, like the lantern scene at the top of this page.
  • Fast opens on motion and swings the fabric big, which makes it a strong pick for dance, action and social clips at 36 credits for 8 s at list price.
  • Lite keeps the staging and the lighting at 16 credits for 8 s at list price and still arrives with sound, a great fit for b roll, backgrounds and high volume social posts.
  • Color notes carry the look on every tier. "Desaturated gray palette so the red dress glows" is why all four clips read at a glance.
  • Keep to one clear action per clip: one spin, one pour, one spoken line. Every example on this page follows that rule, and it is the fastest way to strong results.
  • Add a "Sound:" line to every prompt. Veo generates the audio together with the picture, so each clip arrives with its own soundtrack.

Veo 3.1 settings and how to use them

These are the controls on the Veo 3.1 tool and API, with tips for getting results like the clips above.

TierStandard, Fast, Lite
Standard for faces, dialogue and hero shots, Fast for motion, action and most social clips, Lite for the lowest price per clip.
Duration4, 6 or 8 seconds (Lite at 1080p runs 8 seconds)
Credits scale with length, so a 4 s clip costs half of an 8 s one. Use 8 s for dialogue or a camera move that needs room to play out.
Resolution720p or 1080p
Standard and Fast charge the same per second at either resolution, so we made everything here at 1080p. On Lite, 720p costs less.
AudioOn (default) or off on Standard and Fast, always on for Lite
Put dialogue in double quotes and sound after a "Sound:" label. We ended every dialogue prompt with "No subtitles." to keep the frame clean.
Aspect ratio16:9 or 9:16
Use 16:9 for film, YouTube and presentations, and 9:16 for vertical social video.
Image inputsStart image, optional last frame, up to 3 reference images on Standard
Animate your own still, choose the frame the clip lands on, or keep a character consistent with reference images. Our prompting guide covers each one.

How to use Veo 3.1 on Pixel Dojo

  1. 1

    Pick your tier

Choose Standard for dialogue and close-ups, Fast for motion and action, or Lite for the lowest price per clip. You can run the same prompt on any tier.

  2. 2

Write it like a shot note

Open with shot size and camera move, then one specific subject doing one thing, the light, the lens, and a "Sound:" line. Every prompt on this page follows that order, so copy one and swap in your subject.

  3. 3

    Give your character a line

Write what they say in double quotes and describe the voice, like "in a low, steady voice". End with "No subtitles." for a clean frame.

  4. 4

    Generate and build your story

Set length, resolution and aspect ratio, then generate. For a longer piece, make several clips and cut them together, or use a still as the start image for the next shot.

Veo 3.1 questions

What is Veo 3.1?

Veo 3.1 is Google's AI video generator. It turns a text prompt or an image into a short cinematic clip with generated sound, including dialogue, effects and ambience. On Pixel Dojo it runs in three tiers, Standard, Fast and Lite, from one tool, and through the Pixel Dojo API as veo-3.1-standard, veo-3.1-fast and veo-3.1-lite.

What is Veo 3.1 best at?

Scenes with sound. Every tier generates the audio with the picture, so a character can speak a line on camera over the rain. It also handles real world motion well, from mud spraying off a rally car to cream blooming through iced coffee, and stylized looks like stop motion clay.

Does Veo 3.1 generate sound and dialogue?

Yes. Every tier generates sound with the picture, and every clip we made, Lite included, came with its own audio track. On Standard and Fast audio is on by default and you can switch it off. Put dialogue in double quotes and sound cues after a "Sound:" label. Both characters we wrote lines for, the man at the lantern and the clay fox, speak on camera.

How long can a Veo 3.1 video be, and at what resolution?

Each clip is 4, 6 or 8 seconds at 720p or 1080p, in 16:9 or 9:16. Lite at 1080p runs at 8 seconds. Our 1080p files came back at 1920 by 1080 and 24 frames per second. For longer pieces, generate several clips and cut them together.

What is the difference between Veo 3.1 Standard, Fast and Lite?

Standard is the top quality tier, made for faces, dialogue and hero shots, and the only one that takes reference images. Fast costs less than half as much per second and shines on motion and action. Lite has the lowest price per clip and still generates sound, with no audio switch to set.

Can Veo 3.1 animate my own image or use a first and last frame?

Yes. All three tiers take a start image, and you can add a last frame for the clip to land on alongside it. Standard also takes up to 3 reference images to keep a subject or look consistent; those run in 16:9 at 8 seconds and take the place of a last frame.

How much does Veo 3.1 cost on Pixel Dojo?

Veo 3.1 is included in every plan, from $10/month. At list price an 8 second clip with audio is 96 credits on Standard and 36 credits on Fast, and an 8 second Lite clip at 1080p is 16 credits. The tool shows the price for your settings before you generate.
