How it works

Four steps, and you approve each one

You edit every line and every price before anything renders. Nothing is charged until you press the button that quotes it.

Step 1

Plan

Give it a topic, a category, a look and a length. It comes back with a script cut into scenes, each one with its own narration line and what we see.

Step 2

Narrate

Record the narration once. Every scene is cut against the real audio, so the picture lines up with the words instead of an estimate.

Step 3

Render each scene

Render the whole episode or one scene at a time. Each scene has its own quality setting, so a scene can be cheap while the opener is not.

Step 4

Export

Scenes, narration and music are stitched into one file. Download it, save it to My Media, or add captions with the caption tool.

Six looks

Pick a look and every scene keeps it

The look is set once for the episode, so scene nine matches scene one.

What you control

Nothing runs until you say so

The script

Every narration line is a text field. Rewrite it, cut it, or ask for a new take on one scene.

The picture

Every scene has its own visual prompt. Change what we see without touching the words.

The quality

Three quality rows per scene. 1 credit a second at 360p, 2 at 720p, or a single illustration gently panned.

One scene at a time

A scene you do not like is re-rendered on its own. The rest of the episode is untouched and unbilled.

Music

On or off, with the price quoted before you turn it on. Off means nothing is owed for it.

Captions

Add them to the finished file with the caption tool, timed from the narration, or leave them off.

What it costs

  • Planning an episode is included with your subscription and costs no credits.
  • Scenes are 1 credit a second at 360p and 2 credits a second at 720p.
  • Narration and music are priced by length, and both are quoted before they run.
  • No separate studio fee. You pay for the renders you ask for.

Education

One idea per scene, plain words, a concrete example before the abstraction.

History

Dates and places stated plainly, cause before effect, and no invented quotes.

Kids stories

Warm and slow, with the content rules turned up for the category.

Explainers

A product, a process or an idea, laid out in the order someone actually needs it.

Questions & answers

What to know before you start

Do I have to appear on camera or use my own voice?

No. Faceless Studio writes the script, records the narration with a preset narrator, renders the picture and stitches the whole episode. Nothing of yours is filmed or recorded.

Can I edit the script before anything renders?

Yes, and that is the point. The plan comes back as a list of scenes, each with its narration line and its visual prompt, and every one of them is editable. Nothing is rendered and nothing is charged until you say so.

How long can an episode be?

Episodes run from 1 minute to 5 minutes. Longer episodes are cut into more scenes, and you can edit or re-render any of them on its own.

What does it cost?

Planning an episode is included with your subscription and costs no credits. Scenes are 1 credit a second at 360p and 2 credits a second at 720p. Narration and music are priced by length. There is no separate studio fee, and every step shows its price before you run it.

Can I re-render one scene without redoing the episode?

Yes. Each scene renders on its own and has its own Regenerate button with its own price. The rest of the episode stays exactly as it is.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. Episodes you make on a paid plan come with commercial usage rights, so you can publish and monetise them on your own channels.

What formats does it export?

One MP4, widescreen 16:9 or vertical 9:16, with the narration and the music bed already in the file. Captions can be added to it with the caption tool.

Do I need to know how to edit video?

No. You write and approve text, then press render. The cut, the timing against the narration and the stitch are done for you.

Your next episode starts with a sentence

Type the topic. Read the script it comes back with, change what you want, and render it when you are happy.
