PixelDojo vs Magnific

PixelDojo vs Magnific: two studios, two ways to pay

Pick Pixel Dojo if you want every model at full resolution, priced per generation, with Sensei, a film editor pass and a free daily taste of video effects. Pick Magnific if you want a 30 day refund guarantee and stock assets beside the AI tools.

Magnific is the new name of Freepik's AI platform (formerly Freepik). We read its pricing page and ran one product poster brief on four image models here, then enlarged our favorite with Magnific's own upscaler, which runs on every Pixel Dojo plan.

2 credits ($0.13) per image at 1024x1024. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

One poster brief, four models, then one upscale

We wrote a product poster for an invented yuzu soda with two lines of text, and ran the same prompt at full resolution on four image models. Then we enlarged our favorite 2x with the Magnific upscaler. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

Magnific Upscaler5 credits
  • GPT Image 2.5 gave the boldest poster: a big title, the can label and the bottom line all spelled right. We made it the hero.
  • Ideogram 4.5 spelled both lines correctly and arched the title like a real poster, for the most designed look.
  • Nano Banana 2.1 and FLUX 3 Image made the calmest product shots, with room around the can for a crop.
  • The Magnific upscale doubled the size and kept every letter on the can clean. It is the same upscaler Magnific sells, on our plans.

What unlimited does and does not cover

Magnific's pricing page marks 10 models as unlimited in its comparison table. They are mostly 1K and 2K image models, plus two video models at 720p and 768p. That is a fair perk for drafts and social posts.

Pixel Dojo subscribers get unlimited Relax mode on our self-hosted models. Every other model is priced per generation at its full resolution, and the price is on the model page before you press generate. Our four posters cost 1 to 6 credits each.

On credit lifetime, Magnific says its credits are valid for a year. Ours never expire as long as you have a subscription.

When Magnific is the better pick

Magnific's 30 day refund guarantee is longer than our 7 day window, and that is worth weighing if you want a long trial of the paid plans.

It also sits beside a stock library, so a design team that mixes stock and AI can stay in one place. And its upscaler is famous for good reason, which is why we run it too.

If your work is AI first and runs to finished ads, films and recurring characters, we think our extras make the better studio.

What Pixel Dojo adds around the models

  • Sensei, the AI director

Describe a project and Sensei plans it, prices it, waits for your approval and reviews every take inside the budget you approved.

  • Six studios

Film Studio with a whole film editor cut, Marketing Studio for product video ads, Video Studio to change or extend a clip, Character Studio with @mentions in any prompt, Faceless Studio for narrated videos and Prompt Studio to shape a prompt before you spend.

  • 283 video effects, 30 photo effects, 21 one job tools

One click looks and quick fixes, with 3 free effects a day to try. Subscribers run them with no watermark.

  • LoRA training

Train your own FLUX, Qwen, WAN or Z-Image LoRA and use it next to every other model.

  • API and MCP

A public API with docs generated from each model, credit packs from $5, and a hosted MCP server for AI assistants.

  • Credits that keep

Your credits never expire as long as you have a subscription.

  • Unlimited Relax mode

Subscribers get unlimited Relax runs on Qwen Image 2.1, MiniMax H3 Turbo and every video and photo effect: a slower queue, no credits, with fair use limits.

  • Genre presets

Start Film Studio, Faceless Studio or Sensei from a genre, such as a micro drama, a movie trailer or an explainer, and the format, look and pacing are set for you.

  • Recast

Upload a short clip, pick a saved character or a photo, and Recast swaps in your star while the scene, camera moves and sound stay the same.

What our poster test cost on Pixel Dojo

Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits. Every plan includes every model and commercial use.

The poster cost 2 credits on GPT Image 2.5, 6 on Ideogram 4.5 at high quality, 1.5 on Nano Banana 2.1 and 1 on FLUX 3 Image. The 2x Magnific upscale cost 5.

Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.
