Rules at a glance
- There is no entry fee. Making your video uses Pixel Dojo credits, and the first 50 creators to enter get 400 credits back.
- Your video must be made in Pixel Dojo Film Studio and shared to the Community Gallery. That gallery record is your entry.
- Videos run 30 seconds or longer. Use the whole song or an edit of it.
- Bring a song you made or have the right to use. AI-generated tracks are welcome. Do not use a commercial song you do not own.
- Enter as many videos as you like. Each one needs its own new gallery record and its own social post.
- There is no minimum view count.
- One cash award per video, so eight different creators win.
Content and fair play
- Submit only work you created and have the right to use. That includes the song, the voices, and anything else you added.
- Do not use real public figures, celebrity likenesses, copyrighted characters, or recognizable third-party brands.
- No sexual, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content. The Pixel Dojo Content Policy applies.
- Do not submit someone else's video, or the same video from more than one account.
- Do not buy, automate, exchange, or otherwise manipulate views or engagement.
- Do not submit videos made for a previous Pixel Dojo contest.
- Keep both links public through judging so we can verify them.
Questions, answered
What song can I use?
A song you made or have the right to use. Tracks generated in Suno, Udio, or any similar tool are welcome, and so is anything you wrote and recorded yourself. Do not use a commercial song you do not own. Beyond the rights problem, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube will mute or block it, which kills the reach half of your score.
Do I need to be a musician?
No. Plenty of entries will start with a song generated in a couple of minutes. We are judging the video, not the songwriting. What matters is the look you picked, the artist you cast, and how the cuts ride the track.
How do I get the 400 free credits?
Enter a video, then DM us on Discord with your Pixel Dojo account email, your gallery link, and your social post. We verify it and add 400 credits, about $25 worth, to your account. First 50 creators, one claim each.
