That depends on the photo. In our corgi test the dog grew round and full but stayed on the grass, so think of floating as a possible ending rather than a guaranteed one.

Will my pet's markings stay the same?

Yes. In our render the corgi kept its orange and white coat pattern and leash while it inflated.
