What Cheeky Raspberry does

You look into the lens, raise an eyebrow and roll your eyes. Then your tongue comes out in a cheeky raspberry, both thumbs go down, and the clip ends on a grin.

A cheeky tongue-out thumbs down

You roll your eyes, stick your tongue out and give the camera a playful thumbs down before laughing. Waist-up photos work best.

Still looks like you

The video opens on your exact photo, so the face, hair, outfit and surroundings carry through the whole effect.

Made for short-form video

Built for the clips people share on Reels, TikTok and Shorts: one clear moment in five seconds, framed to stop the scroll.

How to make a Cheeky Raspberry video

  1. Upload a photo, or pick one from your library.
  2. Press Generate. There is no prompt to write; the effect is already set up.
  3. Your 5 second HD video is ready in a minute or two. Save it to your library or download it.

Tips for the best photo

  • Leave room in the frame below your shoulders so your hands have space for the thumbs down.
  • Use a face-forward photo with your mouth closed or lightly smiling.
  • Pick a plain background. A busy room can make the quick hand movement harder to follow.

Ideas for using it

  • A comeback reply for a friend's bad take in the group chat.
  • A playful reaction clip for a creator's video comments.
  • A teasing birthday message for someone who just turned a year older.

Cheeky Raspberry FAQ

Does it only give a thumbs down?

Yes, the gesture is a playful thumbs down paired with the tongue-out look, and it ends with laughter rather than anything harsh.

Will my hair or outfit change?

No. The effect keeps your hair, face and outfit the same and only adds the expression and the gesture.

Do I need to write a prompt for Cheeky Raspberry?

No. Cheeky Raspberry is a ready-made effect: upload a photo and press Generate. The directions for the motion, camera and lighting are already built in.

How long is the Cheeky Raspberry video, and how long does it take?

Every effect makes a 5 second HD video that matches the shape of your photo, portrait or landscape. Most are ready in one to three minutes, and you can leave the page while it renders.

Does the video have sound?

Yes. Each clip comes with matching ambient sound effects. It does not add music, so you can lay your own track over it in any editor.

Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only photos of adults, of yourself or of people who agreed to it. Every upload goes through the same safety checks as the rest of PixelDojo.
