Our clip cost 5 credits, 5 seconds at 480p billed at 1 credit per second on the mini tier, and arrived 104 seconds after we sent it. The file measured 864 by 496 pixels at 24 frames per second, 5.04 seconds long, 1.5 megabytes, with a stereo audio track at a mean of minus 21.2 decibels. The number that decided first place is loop closure. We pulled the first and final frame of every clip and compared them, and this one's ends measured 29.17 decibels apart, roughly double the next model. It also accepts an end frame alongside a start frame in image to video mode, so you can hand it the same picture at both ends and close the loop by construction. Skip it if you want visible movement, because it was also the calmest clip at a mean frame to frame change of 2.67, and some of that loop score is simply that less happened. There was no audio stream in the file at all, because audio on this model is opt in and off by default. What it bought instead was motion. Vidu Q3 averaged 10.95 of frame to frame change, against 5.6 for WAN 2.6 Flash and 2.67 for Seedance 2 Mini, so it was four times busier than the winner for the same 5 credits. Its loop closure landed in the middle at 14.25 decibels. Duration is the most flexible of the three: the API takes any whole number of seconds from 1 to 16, and the in app picker offers 3, 5, 8, 10 and 16. Skip it if you need the clip to close on its own, because at 14.25 decibels the two ends sit far enough apart that you will be crossfading in the edit.
