The job: a stormy dialogue scene with one spoken line
Dialogue is where AI video still trips: lips, timing and a voice that fits the face. We wrote a medium close-up of a lighthouse watchman who turns to camera and says one line, with rain, lamp light and thunder.
Runway sells its own Gen-4.5 alongside a few outside models. On Pixel Dojo we can cast the shot to whichever engine handles it best, so we ran it three ways.

- All three turned to camera on cue and kept the rain on the glass, the lamp light and the storm in the scene.
- Veo 3.1 Fast gave the line the most room at 8 seconds, with lightning flashing through the window behind him.
- Kling 3.0 played the line with the most intensity, framed tight with the lamp in shot.
- WAN 3.0 put the lighthouse itself in the window behind him, for the fewest credits of the three.
