Digen AI alternative

Digen AI alternative: from an original singer to a vertical music clip

Pixel Dojo takes you from a character still to a singing clip to a 9:16 short in three steps, on the same video engines Digen AI lists, with every step priced before you run it.

Digen AI leans into virtual idols and music videos. We walked through that exact job on Pixel Dojo: we designed an original singer, made her sing one line and turned the clip into a vertical short.

30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

The singer leans into the vintage microphone and sings the line, "Neon on the water, we don't sleep tonight," then smiles and sways with the beat as the magenta and teal lights pulse through the haze. Sound: her clear pop vocal over a warm synth bass and a soft drum machine.

Claymation on WAN 3.0 with boing and squish sounds, for 10 credits.

Claymation style: a small orange clay robot with a round antenna waddles across a cardboard kitchen table, stops to sniff a giant strawberry and jumps back startled, fingerprint textures visible, playful boing and squish sounds.

A short dialogue scene on Veo 3.1 with her line, rain and jukebox hum.

Close up in a late night diner booth, a woman in a waitress uniform slides a slice of pie across to a tired trucker and says quietly, "On the house. You look like you need it." A plain glowing coffee cup neon shape in the rainy window with no lettering, low jukebox hum.

A sweeping 2K landscape on MiniMax H3.

Sweeping drone shot over a deep green fjord at sunrise, a small red cabin on the shore, mist peeling off steep cliffs, a waterfall catching the light, cinematic wide lens.

A low, rhythm first shot on Kling 3.0 framed on the sticks and buckets, with crowd sound.

Medium shot of a street drummer in a denim jacket playing a fast rhythm on upturned plastic buckets on a sunny city plaza, sticks blurring, pigeons lifting off behind him, crisp bucket hits and a cheering crowd.

The walkthrough in three steps

  • 1. Design the singer

We described an original pop singer on Nano Banana 2.1: a black bob, a silver sequined jacket, a vintage microphone and magenta and teal stage light. Save her in Character Studio and you can call her by @name in later prompts.

  • 2. Make her sing

We gave the still to Seedance 2.5 as the start frame and wrote the line she sings and the music under it. Seedance makes picture and sound together.

  • 3. Cut it for shorts

Video Reframe turned the 16:9 clip into 9:16, opening up the frame above and below her so she fits a phone screen.

Each step, as it came back

Each run used the output of the step before. The tiles show the prompt, settings and credits of every step.

Step 1, Nano Banana 2.1: the singer with a black bob and silver sequined jacket at a vintage microphone on a small stage

Portrait of an original pop singer, a woman in her late twenties with a sleek black bob and a silver sequined jacket, standing at a vintage microphone on a small stage, magenta and teal stage lights, light haze, confident smile, sharp detail, cinematic.

  • Seedance 2.5 kept her face, bob, jacket and the vintage microphone from the still through the whole clip, with vocals and music built in.
  • Her mouth moves with the singing and she ends on a smile, which gives an easy loop point for a short.
  • The reframe extended the stage instead of cropping her head, so the vertical version shows more of the outfit.
  • The still cost 1.5 credits, the singing clip 30 and the reframe 8.

When Digen AI is the better pick

Digen AI's entry plans are cheap. Ultra starts at $4.99 a month, and its FAQ says Ultra and Pro users also get 200 daily login credits, so a light user can do a lot for little.

Its themed agent skills, from K-POP Idol to Drama Legend, also hand you a ready made format. If you want a template more than control, that is a fast start.

If you want the latest engines, like Seedance 2.5, without buying a pass per model, and a refund window on your first purchase, we think Pixel Dojo is the better deal.
