Vizard alternative
Vizard alternative: generate the hook, then caption and reframe it
Vizard finds clips inside a long video you upload. Pixel Dojo makes the clip itself, a talking hook in 9:16 with sound, then burns in captions and reframes wide shots, with every price shown before you click.
We wrote one hook for a pottery channel and ran it on four video models, then captioned our pick and reframed a two person podcast shot to vertical. Every tile shows the model, the settings and the credits.
30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Cutaways and B-roll for the same channel
Generated in the shape the short needs from the start. Tap any clip to start from its prompt.
A process cutaway on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits, with a soft clink of ceramic.
Vertical close up of gloved hands lifting a glossy cobalt blue vase from the open shelf of an electric kiln, heat shimmer in the air, other glazed pots cooling on the shelf behind, warm orange light. Sound: a soft clink of ceramic and the tick of the cooling kiln.
Sport B-roll on WAN 3.0, already vertical, with tires on dirt and a rattling chain.
Vertical tracking shot from behind and slightly above a mountain biker in a red jersey and full face helmet riding down a rooty forest trail, the camera level and upright, trees standing vertical, dust and pine needles kicked up by the rear tire, low morning sun between the trunks. Sound: tires on dirt, a rattling chain and wind.
A two person podcast shot on Veo 3.1 Fast in 16:9 with their voices and room tone.
Wide shot of two podcast hosts in their thirties at a round wooden table with microphones on boom arms, a man in a green overshirt on the left and a woman in a cream sweater on the right, he laughs and she leans into her microphone and says, "Nobody reads the manual. That is the whole episode." Warm lamps and acoustic panels behind them. Sound: their voices and a soft room tone.
Video Reframe kept both hosts in frame and filled the new space instead of cropping one of them out.

One pottery hook on four video models
The same vertical prompt, with the line in quotes, on Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 Fast and WAN 3.0. Then we sent the Seedance take to Video Autocaption.
Vertical medium shot of a ceramicist in her forties with grey streaked hair pinned up and a clay splattered canvas apron, sitting at a spinning pottery wheel with wet hands around a tall cylinder, she looks up at the camera and says, "Center the clay first. Everything else is easy after that." Window light in a cluttered studio, shelves of drying bowls behind her. Sound: the wheel whirring and her voice.

- All four gave us a 9:16 talking take with a voice track, the wheel turning and shelves of pots behind her, from one prompt.
- Seedance 2.5 had the most natural studio light and the calmest delivery, and Autocaption read its line back word for word: "Center the clay first. Everything else is easy after that."
- Veo 3.1 Fast was the brightest and most animated take, in 4 seconds for 18 credits.
- WAN 3.0 cost 10 credits and gave the warmest smile; Kling 3.0 kept her hands busiest on the clay.
How to make a short here without a long video
Write the hook as a line
Put the exact words in quotes in the prompt. Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and WAN 3.0 all speak it, with room sound.
Pick the take
Run the same prompt on two or three models. Each tile shows what it cost, so you choose on look and price.
Burn in captions
Video Autocaption transcribes the speech and lights each word as it is said, in the highlight color you choose.
Fix the shape last
Video Reframe turns a 16:9 shot into 9:16 and fills the new space, as it did for our podcast hosts.

Vizard questions
What is a good Vizard alternative?
If you have no long video to clip, Pixel Dojo makes the short from a prompt: a talking hook with sound in 9:16, burned in captions, a reframe for wide shots and B-roll, on one credit balance.
How do Vizard credits work?
Vizard's pricing page says 1 credit equals 1 minute of uploaded video. The Free plan has 60 credits a month, and Creator and Business start at 600 credits a month.
Does Vizard have a free plan?
Yes. Vizard's pricing page lists a Free plan with 60 credits a month, 720p export with a watermark, exports up to 10 minutes and 3 day storage.
Which model made the best talking hook?
In our test Seedance 2.5 gave the most natural take and its line transcribed exactly. Veo 3.1 Fast was the most animated, and WAN 3.0 the cheapest at 10 credits.
Can Pixel Dojo turn a wide clip into a vertical short?
Yes. Video Reframe changes 16:9 to 9:16 and fills the new space, so both hosts in our podcast shot stayed in frame.
