WayinVideo alternative: make the short instead of mining it
WayinVideo reads, clips and summarizes long videos you already have. Pixel Dojo makes the short itself: the talking clip, the vertical reframe, the captions and the thumbnail, each priced before you click.
We read WayinVideo's home page and its help center on October 15, 2026. Then we made a mountain bike coaching short from a single sentence, step by step, to show the other way to get a clip.
27.5 credits ($1.72) per 5 s clip with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

More short form clips we made for different channels
Each clip was made on Pixel Dojo from the prompt shown. Tap one to start from it.
A music lesson hook on WAN 3.0, vertical from the start, for 10 credits.
Vertical medium shot of a piano teacher in his sixties with a grey beard and a plain olive sweater with no logos, seated at an upright piano in a sunlit living room, he plays a short scale, then turns to the camera and says, "Slow hands first. Speed shows up on its own." Sound: a gentle piano scale and his voice.
An education hook on Veo 3.1 Fast with his voice, 4 seconds for 18 credits.
Medium shot of an astronomy lecturer in his fifties with a grey cardigan standing in front of a projected image of Saturn in a dark lecture hall, he turns to the audience and says, "Those rings are thinner than a city block." Projector glow on his face. Sound: his voice and a quiet room.
A cafe loop on Seedance 2.5, already vertical, with a soft pour in the audio.
Vertical overhead macro of a barista pouring steamed milk into a cup of espresso, a rosetta pattern forming on the surface, a ceramic cup on a walnut counter, morning light. Sound: the soft pour and a cafe murmur.
A gaming reaction on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits, with a burst of cheering.
Vertical shot of a game streamer in his twenties with headphones around his neck at a desk lit by purple and blue LED strips, he throws both arms up and cheers at the monitor, a glowing keyboard in front of him. Sound: a burst of cheering and keyboard clicks.
From one sentence to a captioned short with a thumbnail
Step one made the coaching clip on Kling 3.0 in 16:9. Step two reframed that clip to 9:16. Step three burned in captions. Step four made the thumbnail.
Medium wide shot of a mountain bike coach in her thirties with a braid and a grey trail jersey standing beside her bike at the top of a rocky forest trail, helmet on, she looks at the camera and says, "Look where you want to go, not at the rock." Dappled morning light through pine trees. Sound: her voice, birdsong and wind in the trees.

A bold YouTube thumbnail: a mountain biker in a grey jersey mid air over a rock on a forest trail on the right, the big headline "LOOK UP" in thick white letters with a black outline on the left, a bright yellow arrow pointing at the rider, high contrast, saturated colors.
- Kling 3.0 delivered the coaching line in one 5 second take with birdsong and wind behind her.
- Video Reframe kept her centered and extended the trail and the pines, so nothing was cropped out of the 9:16 frame.
- Autocaption read the line back exactly, "Look where you want to go, not at the rock," with each word boxed in orange as she says it.
- GPT Image 2.5 spelled the headline cleanly and kept the rider, the arrow and the text from fighting for space.
Where WayinVideo is strong
WayinVideo is built around understanding long videos. Its home page lists a note taker, a summarizer, transcripts, chat with YouTube, mind maps, translation in more than 100 languages and links from more than 15 platforms, alongside clipping, reframing and captions.
Its help center says exports carry no watermark on any plan, basic editing uses no credits, and failed tasks give their credits back. If your work starts with a recorded podcast, lecture or stream, that is a strong set of tools.
