Pixverse v5.6 Prompting Guide

Pixverse v5.6.
Quality tiers + native audio toggle.

Pixverse v5.6 is the previous-generation Pixverse video model — still strong and reliable for text-to-video and image-to-video work. Quality tiers (360p / 540p / 720p / 1080p), six aspect ratios, optional native audio, and consistent motion characteristics make it a dependable workhorse.

Overview

Pixverse v5.6 is the previous-generation Pixverse video model — still production-grade for text-to-video and image-to-video work. Use Pixverse V6 when you want the latest features (multi-clip transitions, six style presets); use v5.6 when you want a stable, predictable workhorse with consistent motion characteristics.

Quality tiers from 360p (cheap iteration) through 1080p (production hero), six aspect ratios covering cinematic through vertical, durations from 5 seconds, optional synced audio generation, and seed pinning for reproducibility.

Key Features

360p · 540p · 720p · 1080p

Quality Tier Choice

Four quality tiers let you trade cost for fidelity per generation. 360p for cheap prompt iteration. 540p / 720p for production output (720p is the sweet spot). 1080p for hero shots and final renders. Same prompt language across all tiers.

Synced ambient + diegetic

Native Audio Toggle

generate_audio=true layers a synced soundscape — ambient sound, diegetic effects, basic music. Toggle off for clean tracks you'll score yourself. Same credit cost either way.

Reliable, predictable

Consistent Motion

Pixverse v5.6 produces consistent motion characteristics across re-runs of the same prompt — predictable for production pipelines where you need a known output behavior. Less wild variance than newer models trading reliability for novelty.

Cinematic through vertical

Six Aspect Ratios

Standard aspect coverage: 16:9 for cinematic, 9:16 for vertical reels, 1:1 for square social, 4:3 and 3:4 for traditional framings. Pick the aspect to match your downstream channel.

Cinematic Sailboat

720p · 16:9 · 5s · style: none

A wooden sailboat glides slowly across a glassy mountain lake at dawn, mist rising from the water, golden sun breaking over the distant peaks, slow tracking shot from the side

"Slow tracking shot from the side" specifies camera position and motion direction together. Pixverse v5.6 holds steady tracking shots cleanly. Atmospheric layering ("mist rising from the water", "golden sun breaking over peaks") gives the model multiple visual targets without overstuffing.

Character Walk on Beach

720p · 16:9 · 5s

A young woman in a flowing red dress walks slowly along a deserted beach at sunset, the camera follows from behind at hip height, ocean waves lapping at her feet, golden hour palette

Follow shots at named heights ("hip height", "shoulder height") give Pixverse a specific framing target. The red dress against the sunset palette is a strong visual contrast that reads cinematic. "Ocean waves lapping at her feet" gives one micro-motion to anchor the scene.

Fountain Pen Signature

720p · 1:1 · 5s

Macro of a fountain pen writing a flourishing signature on cream paper in soft warm light, ink flowing smoothly, premium stationery commercial mood

1:1 product spot at 720p. Pen + paper + signature is a tight micro-narrative for a 5-second clip. Pixverse v5.6 renders ink flow convincingly. "Premium stationery commercial mood" anchors the aesthetic without over-specifying.

Skateboarder Vertical

720p · 9:16 · 5s

A skateboarder grinds a sunlit handrail in slow motion, sparks flying, vertical handheld shot from the side, urban concrete environment, golden hour glow

9:16 vertical for mobile-social. "Vertical handheld shot from the side" specifies aspect AND perspective. "Sparks flying" gives a single distinctive motion element that elevates the clip past generic skating footage.

Prompting Tips

Default to 720p

720p is the production sweet spot — strong motion fidelity, reasonable credit cost. Drop to 360p / 540p only for cheap iteration; bump to 1080p only for hero shots and final renders.

Pixverse V6 has more features

Pixverse v5.6 is the dependable workhorse. Pixverse V6 has multi-clip transitions (first frame + last frame → motion), six built-in style presets (anime, 3D, clay, comic, cyberpunk), and updated motion model. Use V6 when those features matter; use v5.6 when stable workflow matters more.

Name one dominant camera move

"Slow tracking shot from the side", "vertical handheld shot from the side", "macro pull-back", "static locked-off" — Pixverse reads camera language literally. Pick ONE move per clip; combining two motion types usually produces compromised motion.

Layer atmospheric + motion elements

"Mist rising from the water" + "slow tracking shot" + "golden sun breaking over peaks" — three layered elements (atmosphere + camera + lighting). Pixverse composes these convincingly when the prompt provides the structure.

Audio toggle by use case

generate_audio=true when shipping finished content as-is. Off when you'll post-score the clip with custom audio. Strongest on ambient and diegetic sound; weaker on music and dialogue.

Aspect by channel

16:9 cinematic / YouTube. 9:16 vertical / TikTok / Reels / Shorts. 1:1 square social. 4:3 traditional. Generate at the right aspect; Pixverse composes differently per ratio.
