Fallen Hero, Golden Light

A wounded Amazon cradles an unconscious Kryptonian in a pieta-like hold, his head thrown back, cape pooling like blood-dark silk. Dust and grit cling to torn armor; her golden diadem and bracers catch the same late sun that rakes through smoke. Between them a crystalline spear of toxic green light transfixes the chest emblem, its glow cutting the ochre haze like a wound that will not close. Composition is a tight diagonal: her upright torso against his slack horizontal mass, the spear as a bright vertical that pins the frame. Volumetric god-rays pour from the upper right, turning airborne debris into gold leaf while the left side sinks into umber shadow. Palette is amber, rust, and emerald—warm ruin against cold poison.
