Crimson Ponytail Library Gothic

A pale figure occupies the center of a quiet school library, framed by wooden stacks and receding aisles of bound volumes. Waist-length hair, black at the roots and metallic crimson through the length, is gathered in a high ponytail that falls past the hip. Pale blue eyes, black lipstick, and gold pentagram earrings complete a heavy goth makeup. She wears a sheer black blouse beneath a leather underbust corset and open blazer, a studded belt slung at an angle over a pleated crimson-and-black plaid skirt, elbow-length latex gloves, striped knee socks, and glossy Mary Jane heels. Cool fluorescent light from the ceiling tiles flattens the space while catching hard reflections on latex, leather, and patent shoes. The palette is disciplined: black, blood-red, gold, and the muted browns of the shelves. Composition is a full-length three-quarter pose, one gloved hand resting on a low bookcase, the other hanging at her side, creating a vertical axis against the receding geometry of the stacks. The mood is confrontational stillness rather than academic calm—an intrusion of fetishized school-goth costume into an institutional interior. Style sits in contemporary anime illustration: porcelain skin, precise line, high-contrast materials, and a slightly cinematic depth of field that keeps the figure sharp against softly blurred background shelves.
