Sky Courier At Sunset

A four-panel graphic novel page follows a late-twenties courier with a teal undercut, brass round goggles, and a patched orange flight jacket as she rides a long-tail cargo bike through a floating city at dusk. Warm amber light and teal hair set a cel-shaded palette of sunset clouds, clock towers, and lantern-lit bridges. In the first panel she launches from a rooftop ramp, parcels stacked behind her, shouting “Hold on tight!” The second panel is a tight grin; goggle lenses catch the same sky. The third panel, from behind, shows her pedaling hard while the parcel tower wobbles; a large “WHOOSH” stretches across the motion. The last panel drops her onto a wooden market walkway strung with hanging lanterns. Boxes scatter; a caption reads “Delivered. Mostly.” Jacket patches stay simple stars and planets. Clean ink, flat shading, and identical character design across panels give the page the snap of adventure comics without clutter. Composition reads left-to-right like a storyboard: launch, close-up, speed, landing. Mood is buoyant and slightly chaotic—work done, cargo imperfect, sky still gold. The page sells motion, character, and a compact world of aerial delivery.
