Silverpine Ridge Trail Map

A vintage screen-printed trail poster frames Silverpine Ridge as a high alpine basin seen from above. Bold hand-lettered serif type announces the range; beneath it, Mount Adler, Raven Spire, and Copper Tooth rise in cream and burnt-orange granite, their ridges cut by dashed red switchbacks. Three linked turquoise lakes sit in a forested trough of dark pines, the water a cool slate-blue against rust-toned autumn slopes. Composition is a bird’s-eye map rather than a landscape painting: trails snake from lakeshore to summits, a compact legend in the lower left listing Lake Loop, Summit Route, and ranger station with matching icons. Lighting is even and graphic, as if the scene were printed under studio lamps rather than sun, so form reads through color blocking instead of shadow. The palette is tightly limited—forest green, burnt orange, cream, and turquoise—on cream paper with visible grain and slight ink misregistration that recalls mid-century national-park posters. Mood is invitational and slightly nostalgic: a working map that still functions as wall art, crisp lettering and clear distances promising both adventure and wayfinding.
