Harbor City Hawks Crest

A circular sports emblem centers a hawk’s head in left-facing profile, plumage rendered in cream with navy contour and orange flashes along the nape. The yellow iris and slightly parted hooked beak convey predatory focus. An arched navy banner above reads HARBOR CITY in cream block letters; a matching lower banner carries HAWKS in oversized varsity type. Crossed orange oars form an X behind the bird, blades pointing down, implying a coastal or rowing identity. EST. 1962 sits in small type at the base, completing the heraldic hierarchy. Composition is strictly concentric: outer navy ring, inner cream field, banners locking the vertical axis. Color is limited to deep navy, saturated orange, cream, and sparing yellow-gray, producing high-contrast graphic punch without modeled light. Forms are defined by clean outlines and flat fills typical of mid-century American collegiate and professional branding. The mood is aggressive yet ceremonial—territorial pride distilled into a mascot that could sit equally on a jersey, stadium wall, or championship ring. The design balances ferocity with institutional dignity, echoing classic varsity crests while remaining instantly readable at any scale.
