Prime Time: Drive-In Day

One photo of Gus, a new star in the shot

A three-headed inflatable dragon crashes a desert drive-in until Circe pulls its valve. Every shot started as a Seedream 5 still with our Character Studio cast, Seedance 2.5 added motion and sound, and Character Swap put Gus into Brian's closing shot.

    Prompt
Vertical frame. A giant three-headed inflatable dragon rears up from behind the huge blank white screen of a 1980s desert drive-in movie theater at golden hour, towering three times the height of the screen. All three long necks rise from one round body; three fierce stylized heads with swept-back horns, ear fins and spiky crests, wide jaws of white vinyl fangs and red mouths, puffing harmless orange smoke. Glossy cornflower-blue vinyl parade-balloon with visible seams and air valves, navy hexagon scale print, pale blue belly, small wings (the dragon in images 1 and 2, exactly three heads). Below, rows of boxy unbranded 1980s cars with chrome bumpers parked on gravel, speaker posts, desert mesas and a big orange sky behind. Low heroic angle, dust in the air. The screen is completely blank white with no image or text on it. Shot like a 1980s prime-time action TV series, high production value: 35mm film, warm sun-bleached golden grade, soft highlight halation, light film grain, slightly lifted blacks, heroic low angles, practical stunt look. No on-screen text, no logos, no signs.

    Prompt
The single blue inflatable dragon head in the image (same exact shape, glossy vinyl balloon, neck entering from the top of the frame) shoves the giant tin popcorn barrel over with a rubbery bump; the barrel tips and rolls, and a huge blizzard of popcorn sprays into the air and rains down over the parked cars, bouncing off roofs and hoods. The head recoils with a springy wobble and puffs orange smoke. Dust swirls. Camera: low angle, quick handheld shake on impact. Keep the 1980s 35mm golden-hour film look. Sound effects only, no music, no speech: a metal clang, popcorn pattering like hail, rubbery squeak.
