Colossal Ghost Over Hilltown

A five-story inflatable ghost dominates a sun-bleached Mediterranean plaza, its cartoon ovals for eyes and mouth stretched in comic alarm while arms reach across the frame. The balloon’s wrinkled vinyl hem brushes terracotta roofs and blue-shuttered whitewashed houses stacked up the hillside. Bright noon light from a cloudless sky carves hard shadows across cafe tables, striped umbrellas, and laundry lines; startled pigeons explode into flight around the giant form. Foreground clutter—overturned chairs, a sleeping white dog, scattered debris—anchors the scene in ordinary village life even as the scale becomes absurd. Gold and white overlay type reads “Prime Time Ghost Day” with a caption about a lawn ghost the size of a building, giving the still the graphic snap of a television promo. The palette is high-key and saturated: pure white against intense azure, warm roof tiles, and pops of orange lettering. Mood mixes festive Halloween spectacle with gentle chaos, a Magritte-scale surrealism shot like an 1980s action-comedy still. Photoreal architecture meets oversized pop inflatable, cinematic yet playful.
