How to get photoreal results from WAN 2.2 Image
Two more prompts we wrote for texture and light: a documentary candid at 4:3 and a sunrise macro at 3:4. Both came back at 2 megapixels for 1 credit each.

- Lead with the camera. "Candid documentary photo on a 50mm lens" or "macro photograph" sets the look before the subject does.
- Give the subject one real moment, like a laugh while leaning on lobster traps. It reads as a photo, not a pose.
- Name the light and the time of day: low morning sun, sunrise through grass, blue hour. WAN 2.2 lights the whole scene from that one cue.
- Add "no signs, no text, no logos" to busy street scenes, as in our courier prompt, so the background stays clean.
- Pick 2 megapixels for finished images. It costs the same 1 credit as 1 megapixel.
WAN 2.2 Image vs FLUX 2 Dev under the northern lights
We ran one prompt at 16:9 on two models that both cost 1 credit. WAN 2.2 Image came back at 1920 x 1072 with the lit cabin mirrored in the fjord and aurora breaking through storm clouds. FLUX 2 Dev made a 1200 x 672 frame with a clear sky and the aurora reflected across the water.
