Kling 4.0 films a whole scene from one prompt: write each shot with its seconds, put the dialogue in quotes and set the length.

You need: An idea for a scene with two or three shots.

Step by step

  1. Open Kling 4.0

It films scenes up to 30 seconds long, with dialogue and sound, from one prompt. Start and end frames and a reference clip are optional.

  2. Write the shots with their seconds

"0-4s: wide shot of a neon night market in the rain, steam rising from a noodle stall, slow push-in. 4-8s: close-up of the cook, an older woman with silver hair, she flips the noodles and calls out

    Last bowl of the night!

8-10s: a young customer laughs and lifts her bowl, warm light, rain and sizzling sounds."

  3. Set the length to match

Open the length control and set 10 seconds, the end of your last shot. The price on Generate updates: 65 credits at 1080p.

  4. Generate

Press Generate. The scene renders with every cut, the spoken line and the sound, and lands in your history. Press Save to keep it.

Why it works

  • One action per shot. A shot that asks for two things usually does neither.
  • Name the sounds you want: rain, sizzling, a crowd. Kling 4.0 makes them with the picture.

Made this way

Three timed shots and one spoken line, filmed as one 10-second scene.

Your practice task

Rewrite the same scene with the cook speaking first, then compare the two takes.
