OiiOii alternative

OiiOii alternative for animated stories with a steady cast

Pixel Dojo lets you design a character once, place her in new scenes and animate every shot on Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 or WAN 3.0, with sound built in and the credit price shown before each step.

OiiOii calls itself an animation agent and runs many outside models behind one canvas. The hard part of any animated story is keeping the same character from shot to shot, so we built a two scene short around one mushroom forager and show every step.

30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

3D animated film shot: the forager lifts a plump mushroom from the basket, holds it up to the light with a delighted gasp and a chuckle, a small red squirrel peeks out from behind the tree on the left, golden light rays shift through the mist, slow push in. Sound: rustling leaves, a happy chuckle and birdsong.

A six panel pencil storyboard of a red paper kite drifting from a rooftop over a market and a spire to a fishing boat

Plan the short before you render it: a wordless six panel storyboard on GPT Image 2.5 with arrows for camera moves.

A six panel storyboard sheet for an animated short with no words: pencil and grey marker sketches on white paper. Panel 1, a red paper kite tugs free from a rooftop line. Panel 2, it drifts over a busy market. Panel 3, it snags on a church spire. Panel 4, a gust frees it. Panel 5, it sails out over the harbor. Panel 6, it lands softly on the deck of a fishing boat. Clean frames with small arrows showing camera moves.

Hand drawn anime style on WAN 3.0, with wind and a jingle in the sound track, for 10 credits.

Hand drawn anime style, a mail carrier in his fifties with a grey walrus mustache and a round cap glides on a small hover scooter between floating islands in a bright sky town, envelopes fluttering from his satchel, he tips his cap as he passes a windmill, wide tracking shot, puffy cumulus clouds, the whoosh of wind and a cheerful jingle.

A 3D cartoon gag on Kling 3.0 with clockwork whirs and a soft thud.

Stylized 3D cartoon: a tiny wind up tin robot tries to climb a tall stack of books on a cozy desk, slips, tumbles onto a cushion, then sits up and waves its arms in triumph, bouncy playful timing, warm lamp light, clockwork whirring, a soft thud and a little toot.

Vertical anime music video shot: a street musician in his thirties with a long scarf stands on a rooftop at night and lifts his arms as glowing paper lanterns rise slowly around him, slow orbiting camera, city lights far below, painted night sky. Sound: soft wind, a warm synth pad and distant city hum, no vocals.

The problem: your hero changes face between shots

Animated stories live or die on the character. If her hat, glasses or proportions shift between two shots, the story breaks, and most text to video prompts redraw the character from scratch each time.

OiiOii answers this with an agent that plans storyboards and calls models such as Kling O1, Seedance 2.0 Pro, Wan 2.7 and Nano Banana 2 for you. We answer it by letting you anchor every shot to one picture of your character, and you can see each step below.

One forager, two scenes, four steps

We drew the character once, animated her in the forest, put the same character behind a market stall with a reference edit, then animated that scene. Each tile shows its model, settings and credits.

Step 1, Nano Banana 2.1: a 3D animated forager with round spectacles kneels by a basket of mushrooms in a misty forest

3D animated feature film style still of an original character: a cheerful mushroom forager in her sixties with rosy cheeks, round spectacles and a moss green knitted shawl, kneeling in a misty autumn forest beside a wicker basket of mushrooms, stylized proportions, soft subsurface skin, warm golden light through the trees.

Step 3, Nano Banana 2.1 with the first still as reference: the same forager behind a market stall full of mushroom baskets

Use the reference image as the character. The same forager from the reference, same rosy cheeks, round spectacles, flat cap, moss green knitted shawl and orange blouse, now standing behind a wooden stall at a cozy village market in autumn, selling mushrooms from little baskets, string lights overhead, other stalls softly blurred, same 3D animated feature film style, warm late afternoon light, wide shot.

3D animated film shot: the forager holds up a little basket of mushrooms to a passing customer just out of frame and laughs, string lights sway above the stall and leaves drift down, gentle camera drift. Sound: market chatter, a warm laugh and leaves rustling.

  • The cap, round spectacles, rosy cheeks and green shawl stayed the same across all four steps, the thing a short story needs most.
  • Seedance 2.5 played the squirrel peeking out from the tree as asked and kept the golden light rays moving through the mist.
  • Kling 3.0 brought a customer into the market shot to take the basket, giving the scene a second character without a second prompt.
  • Each step cost its own small price: 1.5 credits per still, 30 for the Seedance shot and 27.5 for the Kling shot.

Verdict

If you want an agent to take a one line idea and run the whole animation for you inside templates such as Story Video and Viral Remake, OiiOii is built around that, with team plans and seat management for studios.

If you want to steer each shot yourself, see the price of every step and keep a character steady with your own reference frames, we think Pixel Dojo is the better buy, and Sensei can still plan the project when you want help.

What a two shot animated story costs here

Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits. Every plan includes every model and commercial use.

Our forager short used two stills at 1.5 credits each, one Seedance 2.5 shot at 30 credits and one Kling 3.0 shot at 27.5. Every tile lists its own price.

Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.

OiiOii questions

What is a good alternative to OiiOii?

Pixel Dojo runs Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, WAN 3.0 and Veo 3.1 for animation, with image models to design and place your characters, Character Studio to keep them consistent and Sensei to plan whole projects.

How much does OiiOii cost?

OiiOii's pricing page lists BASE at $17 a month for 1,310 credits, STAR at $46, PRO at $114 and APEX at $239, with team plans from $69. Part of each month's credits comes from daily check ins.

How do I keep an animated character consistent between shots?

Start every shot from a picture of the character. We drew our forager once, used that image as a reference for the second scene, then animated each still as a start frame.

Can I make anime and 3D styles on Pixel Dojo?

Yes. The forager is in a 3D feature film style, the mail carrier on this page is hand drawn anime on WAN 3.0, and both styles work as start frames for animation.

Does Pixel Dojo have an animation agent?

Sensei plans a project, prices it, waits for your approval and reviews every take before it reaches you. Film Studio adds script, cast, storyboard and an editor pass for longer pieces.
