Characters · Lesson 2 of 8
How to make your AI character dance and join trends
The Perform tab turns a saved character into the star of a dance, a trend or a runway walk, one click each.
You need: A saved character, ideally with a full-body photo.
Step by step
Open Perform
Open your character in Character Studio and switch to the Perform tab, top right. Copy any trending video sits at the top for a clip of your own.
Pick the photo that stars
Tap one of the photos beside Starring. Full-body photos dance best, because the move needs the whole person.
Pick a dance or a trend
Dances like AI Dance, Catwalk, Kung Fu and Rap Stage, then trends like Peace Wink, Hand Heart and Cool Shades. Each card shows the move it makes.
Choose Relax or Fast
Relax runs it for 0 credits in a slower queue. Fast starts right away: 7.5 credits for Catwalk, ready in one to three minutes.
Generate, then save
Press Generate. The video lands under the button: press Save to library to keep it, or Download.
Why it works
- A plain background in the starring photo keeps the outfit clean once it moves.
- Trends work from a head-and-shoulders photo; dances want the whole body in frame.
Made this way
Your practice task
Run one dance and one trend with the same character, then post them as a pair.

Turn your saved character into the star of a dance, runway walk, or trend using PixelDojo Character Studio. Open your saved character in Character Studio, then switch to Perform. Here, we're using Juniper. Pick the photo you want to star in the video. Full-body photos dance best, so choose one that shows your character from head to toe. Copy any trending video is also right above the preset collection. Scroll through dances like Kung Fu and Rap Stage, then explore trends such as Peace Wink and Cool Shades. For this video, choose Catwalk. The Catwalk window shows the example playing on the left, with Juniper's selected photo on the right. These are the runway move and character we're combining. Relax is selected here. This runs the performance for free, without spending credits, but uses a slower queue. Choose it when you're happy to wait. Or switch to Fast for a shorter wait. This Catwalk video costs 7.5 credits, and is usually ready in 1-3 minutes. Press Generate. The button now says Making Your Video, confirming generation is underway. Let the video finish processing before reviewing Juniper's runway performance. Juniper now walks the runway in the generated video below the controls. Review the performance, then press Save to Library to keep this version. You've turned a saved character into a runway video. Next, try a dance or trend with the same character.
