Flashloop alternative

Flashloop alternative: every top video engine, priced before you click

Pixel Dojo runs WAN 3.0, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1 on every plan, shows the credit price of each one before you generate, and charges only for what you make.

Flashloop sells many of the same video models we do, behind tiers that decide which ones you can open. We wrote one documentary brief with a person, an action, a setting and sound, and ran it on four engines here to show what each one does with it.

10 credits ($0.63) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Tracking shot beside a fishmonger in his fifties in a yellow rubber apron who lifts a gleaming silver fish from crushed ice at a dawn harbor market and holds it up to a customer, gulls wheeling overhead, wet stone floor reflecting a pink sky, 35mm documentary look, gulls crying, ice crunching and market chatter.

The effect styles, made from a plain prompt

Flashloop sells one tap effects like Claymation and Watercolor. On Pixel Dojo you write the style into the prompt. We made each of these with the prompt shown.

Claymation on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits, with rustling leaves and a plucked bass.

Claymation style: a small clay hedgehog in a knitted scarf rolls a big red apple across a mossy forest floor, stops and sniffs it, warm tungsten light, visible thumbprints in the clay, rustling leaves and a playful plucked bass.

Watercolor animation on Kling 3.0 with wind and a flute melody.

Watercolor animation style: a red paper kite climbs over a green hillside village on a windy afternoon, its ribbon tail snapping, painted clouds drifting, visible paper grain and soft bleeding edges, wind gusts and a light flute melody.

Where a tiered video app gets in the way

Flashloop gathers Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1, WAN 3.0 and more behind a Super Agent and a set of studios. The catch is in the tiers: its pricing page says the Starter plan has limited model access and no Seedance 2.5 or Seedance 2.0.

Its Unlimited option is also rule bound. Flashloop says speed and concurrency may drop at peak hours, that Unlimited is for personal, human use only with no automation tools, and that unusual activity can pause it for review.

If the shot you need is a Seedance shot, or you want to run jobs from your own code, those lines matter. So we tested the job itself.

One harbor market brief on four engines

Same prompt, same 16:9 frame, sound on. WAN 3.0, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 ran 5 seconds at 720p; Veo 3.1 Fast ran 4 seconds at 1080p. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

  • WAN 3.0 followed the whole brief, from the lift out of the ice to the hand off to a customer, and it was the cheapest at 10 credits.
  • Kling 3.0 gave the liveliest performance: he holds the fish up and laughs while gulls wheel behind him.
  • Seedance 2.5 read the brief as a close up insert of hands, ice and fish, a shot an editor would cut into a longer piece.
  • Veo 3.1 Fast kept the widest view of the market and the dawn sky. All four came back with gulls, ice and market sound.

Our verdict on the harbor test

No single engine won every shot. WAN 3.0 is our pick for following a brief to the letter on a budget, Kling 3.0 for faces and performance, Seedance 2.5 for close detail and Veo 3.1 for wide scenes.

That is why we put every engine on every plan. You pick per shot, see the price first and pay for what you render, instead of choosing a tier that decides for you.

When Flashloop is the better pick

If you make a lot of Veo 3.1 clips by hand every month and you are happy on an annual plan, Flashloop Creator puts Veo 3.1 on Unlimited, which can beat paying per clip.

Flashloop also has one tap trend effects and official iOS and Android apps, so it suits creators who work from a phone.

If you want every engine on the entry plan, prices you can see before you click, and an API you can script, we built Pixel Dojo for that.

What the harbor test costs on Pixel Dojo

Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits. Every plan includes every model and commercial use.

The four harbor clips cost 10, 27.5, 30 and 18 credits, and every tile lists its own price.

Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.
