BasedLabs alternative
BasedLabs alternative for creators who post every day
Pixel Dojo keeps one virtual creator consistent across photos and reels, makes thumbnails with real text, and prices every model before you click, all on one plan.
BasedLabs is popular for AI influencers, memes and quick social video. We built the thing most of its users want, one original creator who looks the same in every post, and listed the other jobs we would bring here.
30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Six jobs BasedLabs users do, and where to do them here
1. A virtual creator who stays the same person
Make one portrait, then pass it as a reference to Nano Banana 2.1 or GPT Image 2.5 for every new scene. Save her in Character Studio and call her by @name in any prompt.
2. Reels from your best stills
Use a photo as the start frame on Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 or Veo 3.1 and describe one action and the sound. The flower market reel above was made that way.
3. Thumbnails with readable headlines
Ideogram 4.5 and GPT Image 2.5 handle short bold headlines. Put the exact words in quotes in your prompt.
4. UGC style product clips
Kling 3.0 and Veo 3.1 deliver a spoken line to camera, so a selfie style review needs no actor or phone.
5. Profile pictures and avatars
FLUX 3 Image and Seedream 5 cover 3D clay, anime and photo styles for a credit or two.
6. Faceless channels
Our faceless video generator, auto captions and text to speech turn a topic into a captioned vertical video.

We made each of these on Pixel Dojo with the prompt shown. Tap one to start from it.

Ideogram 4.5 set the headline cleanly for 2 credits.
Video thumbnail: a hiker in an orange jacket stands on the rim of a steaming volcanic crater, bold yellow headline "I HIKED AN ACTIVE VOLCANO" with a black outline, high contrast, punchy saturated colors.
A UGC style talking clip on Kling 3.0, with her line spoken.
Handheld selfie style video of a woman in her thirties in a bright bathroom holding up a small round tin of hand balm with a plain kraft label. She says, "One tin lasted me all winter. My hands say thanks." Natural window light, casual and friendly.

A travel post on Kling Image for 1 credit.
Overhead flat lay for a travel post: a worn paper map of the Alps, a vintage film camera, a croissant, a cappuccino and a pair of sunglasses on a white marble cafe table, soft morning light, crisp shadows.

A profile picture on FLUX 3 Image for 1 credit.
Profile picture avatar in soft 3D clay style: a round faced otter in a tiny yellow raincoat holding a paper coffee cup, centered on a pastel blue circle background, soft studio lighting.
One virtual creator, three posts and a reel
We made an original creator on Nano Banana 2.1, then used that single photo as the only reference for two new scenes on two different models, and animated one of them on Seedance 2.5. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

Lifestyle portrait of an original virtual creator: a woman in her late twenties with a short platinum bob, freckles and round tortoiseshell glasses, wearing an oversized sage green knit sweater and wide leg jeans, sitting by a sunny window with a vintage film camera in her hands, natural light, shallow depth of field.

The same woman from the reference image, same face, freckles, platinum bob and round tortoiseshell glasses, now browsing a street flower market stall at golden hour, holding a paper wrapped bunch of peach ranunculus, wearing a cream trench coat, candid street photo, 35mm look.

The same woman from the reference image, same face, freckles, platinum bob and round tortoiseshell glasses, on an indoor bouldering wall reaching for a yellow hold, chalk on her hands, a grey t-shirt and climbing pants, bright gym light, action photo.
She lifts the bunch of ranunculus to smell it, laughs and glances up at the camera, shoppers drift past the flower stalls behind her in warm low sun. Sound: market chatter, rustling paper and a distant bicycle bell.
- Both models kept her face, platinum bob and tortoiseshell glasses from one reference photo, with no training.
- Nano Banana 2.1 and GPT Image 2.5 changed the outfit and setting on cue, a trench coat at the market and climbing clothes at the gym.
- Seedance 2.5 kept her likeness through the whole reel, with sound built in.
- For a long running account, saving her once in Character Studio means every future prompt can call her by name.

When BasedLabs is the better pick
BasedLabs has a lively community feed, a Discord and novelty tools such as a meme maker, a voice changer and a face swap. If you want to browse what others post and remix it, that culture is its strength.
If you want a consistent character, the newest video models and prices you can see before you click, we think Pixel Dojo is the better home for a daily posting schedule.
