NeonLights AI alternative

NeonLights AI alternative you can actually pay for today

NeonLights AI's pricing page says payments are paused. Pixel Dojo animates your photos on Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 and WAN 2.7 now, with the credit price on every model page.

NeonLights AI built a following on one time credit packs and photo to video effects. On October 15, 2026 its pricing page said payments were paused. We took one night street photo and animated it on three engines to show what the same job looks like here.

27.5 credits ($1.72) per 5 s clip with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

She opens a clear umbrella and steps out into the rain, the neon light ripples across the wet pavement, steam drifts from the stall, the camera slowly pushes in. Sound: steady rain, a sizzling wok and distant traffic.

The case for one time credit packs, and where it breaks

One time packs are a fair idea. NeonLights AI sells Pilot at 6 euros for 600 credits, Commander at 18 euros for 1,900 and Admiral at 96 euros for 12,000, with no subscription to cancel.

The catch is the store has to be open. On October 15, 2026 the NeonLights AI pricing page said payments are currently paused, so no pack could be bought.

The second catch is the model list. Its pricing page prices video on Seedance 1.5 Pro, Kling 2.5 Turbo and Pixverse V5.6. We would rather pay for the current versions.

One night photo, three ways to animate it

We made the still on Nano Banana 2.1, then used it as the start frame on three video engines with the same motion prompt. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

The still: a woman in a yellow raincoat beside a steaming noodle stall under a neon bowl sign

Cinematic night photo of a woman in her late twenties in a yellow raincoat standing beside a street noodle stall in light rain, a single glowing pink and teal neon tube shaped like a steaming bowl hangs above the stall, no letters or words anywhere, steam rising from the pots, wet pavement reflections, 35mm film grain.

  • All three kept her yellow raincoat, the steaming stall and the neon bowl sign from the photo, and all three opened a clear umbrella on cue.
  • Kling 3.0 played it as a calm moment, umbrella up and the stall cook working behind her.
  • WAN 2.7 followed the push in most closely and ended on her face under the umbrella, for 10 credits.
  • Seedance 2.5 had her walk out of frame, leaving the steam and the neon, the most cinematic exit of the three.

When NeonLights AI is the better pick

If its payments come back and you only want a few images a year, a one time pack with no subscription is simple. Its effects need no prompt and no settings, which suits anyone who wants a single tap.

If you want the current video models, prompts you control and a store that is open, we think Pixel Dojo is the safer bet right now.
