Haiper AI alternative
Haiper AI alternative: animate your art on today's top models
Haiper AI's consumer service was reported closed in February 2025. Pixel Dojo runs the image to video and text to video engines that replaced it, from WAN and Kling 3.0 to MiniMax H3, with every price shown first.
Haiper was a favorite for bringing a still picture to life. We took one storybook illustration, animated it on three engines and kept every take, so former Haiper users can pick a new home by the result.
10 credits ($0.63) per 5 s clip at 720p. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

What happened to Haiper AI
Haiper was a generative AI video platform founded in 2021. In March 2025 BusinessCloud reported that its two co-founders had joined Microsoft's technical staff.
CzechCrunch, citing Sifted, reported the same week that Haiper had closed its customer services in February 2025 and had essentially stopped working as a consumer product.
If you used Haiper to animate drawings, photos and ideas, the engines below do that job today. We ran a real test so you can see them before you switch.
Short clips in the spirit of Haiper, made here
Haiper users loved quick creative shorts. Each clip below was made on Pixel Dojo from the prompt shown.
A slow motion moment on WAN 3.0 with birdsong and the click of the sword.
Slow motion close shot in a moss garden at dawn: a swordsman in his fifties in a grey hakama sheathes his wooden practice sword and bows as cherry petals drift through the frame, mist between stone lanterns, shallow depth of field. Sound: birdsong, a soft breeze and the click of the sword entering its sheath.
A wildlife close up on MiniMax H3 Turbo, snow settling on its fur, with wind and creaking bamboo.
Close shot in a snowy bamboo forest: a red panda sits on a mossy branch, catches a falling snowflake on its nose, sneezes and shakes its fluffy tail, soft blue morning light, shallow depth of field. Sound: a gentle wind, creaking bamboo and one tiny sneeze.
A documentary style shot on Seedance 2 Mini with dust in the light.
Documentary style wide shot inside a wooden training stable at sunrise: two sumo wrestlers in their twenties push against each other in the clay ring while an older coach watches from the edge with folded arms, dust rising in a shaft of light through high windows.
Fantasy underwater on MiniMax H3 Turbo, with muffled water and bubbles.
Fantasy underwater shot: a mermaid in her thirties with a teal scaled tail and braided silver hair swims slowly past a coral reef full of yellow tang fish, sunbeams rippling down through the water, the camera drifts alongside her. Sound: muffled underwater ambience and gentle bubbles.
Case study: one storybook painting, three motion engines
We painted a seaside cove on FLUX 3 Image, then gave the same image and the same motion prompt to three image to video engines. Each tile lists its settings and credits.

Storybook gouache illustration of a cozy seaside cove at dusk: a small wooden sailing ship with patched cream sails anchored in turquoise water, a rope swing hanging from a leaning palm, a campfire on the sand with a kettle, warm lantern light in the ship's round windows, first stars over purple hills, soft brush texture, no people, no text.
The storybook cove comes alive: the patched sails ripple in a soft breeze, the ship rocks gently at anchor, waves roll up the sand, the campfire flickers and the kettle lets out a thin wisp of steam, the rope swing sways, stars twinkle. Keep the gouache painted look, static camera. Sound: waves, crackling fire and a light wind.

- WAN 2.7 did the most of what we asked, with a wave running up the beach and steam rising from the kettle, and kept the gouache texture.
- Kling 3.0 was the most faithful to the painting, with small, calm motion. Pick it when the art must not change.
- MiniMax H3 Turbo got the most playful, adding sparkling stars and a setting sun that were not in the painting.
- All three came back with sound, from waves to a crackling fire, in one run.

When something else is the better pick
If you only want one model in the simplest possible app, a single model app may suit you better than a studio with many engines.
If you want to keep animating art and photos, and to test the same image on several engines before you commit, we think Pixel Dojo is the closest fit.

Haiper AI questions
Is Haiper AI shut down?
CzechCrunch, citing Sifted, reported that Haiper closed its customer services in February 2025, and BusinessCloud reported in March 2025 that its co-founders had joined Microsoft.
What is the best Haiper AI alternative?
For animating images, Pixel Dojo runs WAN 2.7, Kling 3.0 and MiniMax H3 Turbo side by side. In our test WAN 2.7 added the most motion and Kling 3.0 stayed closest to the original art.
Can I turn a drawing into a video?
Yes. Upload the drawing or generate one, then use it as the first frame on any image to video model. Our storybook cove was animated that way.
Do the clips have sound?
The engines in our test added sound such as waves and a crackling fire in the same run.
