Parrot AI alternative
Parrot AI alternative for talking characters you own
Pixel Dojo gives you text to speech, three lip sync avatar models and video engines that speak on their own, so you can make an original character say anything, with the credit price shown first.
Parrot AI is a phone and web app for talking videos, voices and meme clips. We make original characters instead of famous voices, so we built one cartoon baker, gave him one line, and ran it through three avatar models.
36 credits ($2.25) per 8 s clip at 1080p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

More talking characters and meme clips made on Pixel Dojo
Every clip below came from the prompt on its tile. Tap one to start from it.
One prompt on Veo 3.1 Fast: the parrot, its line, a squawk and the kitchen sounds, all in one pass.
3D animated style: a bright green parrot on a wooden perch in a sunny kitchen tilts its head, looks straight at the camera and says, "Who left the crackers out? Not me." A small squawk, a ticking clock and kitchen sounds.
A cartoon cat with a line and rain on the glass, on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits.
Hand drawn cartoon style: a tabby cat in a tiny yellow raincoat sits on a windowsill watching the rain, turns to the camera with half closed eyes and sighs, "Another Monday." Rain patter on the glass and a low grumble.

The portrait behind the avatar test, drawn on Nano Banana 2.1 for 1.5 credits. Save a character like this once and reuse it.
3D animated film style portrait of an original character: a cheerful baker in his fifties with a curled grey mustache, flour on his cheeks and a tall white hat, chest up and facing the camera, smiling, warm bakery with bread shelves softly blurred behind him, soft key light.
A motion meme on Seedance 2.5, with soil flying and an upbeat tune.
Vertical stylized 3D cartoon: a potted fern in a terracotta pot on a sunny windowsill sprouts two leafy arms and dances a little shuffle, leaves bouncing to the beat, soil sprinkling, a bright upbeat ukulele tune and tiny footstep taps.

One cartoon baker, one voice line, three avatar models
We drew an original baker on Nano Banana 2.1, recorded one short line with text to speech, then gave the same picture and audio to three lip sync models. Each tile shows its settings and credits.
The cheerful baker talks warmly to the camera with lively eyebrows and small nods, his mustache moving as he smiles, the bakery shelves stay still behind him, steady framing.
The cheerful baker talks warmly to the camera with lively eyebrows and small nods, his mustache moving as he smiles, the bakery shelves stay still behind him, steady framing.
- All three kept the hat, the flour on his cheeks and the bakery shelves exactly as drawn, so the portrait carries the character.
- P-Video Avatar was the lowest priced of the three at 8 credits for the line, and finished on the warmest smile.
- OmniHuman gave the biggest, most cartoon mouth shapes and brows, for 40 credits.
- Kling Avatar added the most body movement, with his shoulders and arms shifting as he talks, for 16 credits.
When Parrot AI is the better pick
Parrot AI is built for quick entertainment on your phone. Its home page lists 100+ celebrity, character and voice clone options, meme templates and speech to speech, and says it has 10M+ downloads. If you want a ready made famous style voice in a meme, that is its lane.
We only make original characters and voices. If you want a mascot, a host or a cartoon that belongs to you and can appear in ads, shorts and whole films, we think Pixel Dojo is the better home.
Three ways to make a character talk here
Picture plus voice
Draw or upload a character, write the line in text to speech, then lip sync it on Kling Avatar, OmniHuman or P-Video Avatar, as we did with the baker.
One prompt, voice included
Describe the scene and put the line in quotes. Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 3.0 speak it with sound effects in one pass, like the parrot at the top.
Keep the character
Save your character in Character Studio and call it by @name in any prompt, so the next clip has the same face.
