SendShort alternative

SendShort alternative that makes the footage, not just the cut

Pixel Dojo generates the vertical footage, the narration and the captions for a faceless short on one plan, with the top video models and the credit price of each step shown before you click.

SendShort is built to turn videos into captioned shorts and to make faceless videos from a prompt. We wanted to see how a faceless fact short comes together when every shot is generated, so we built one from a blank page.

30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Slow push in through the blue ice cave toward the hiker standing at the bright opening, meltwater drips sparkle as they fall, she turns her head to look back into the cave. A calm female narrator says, "Glacier ice looks blue because it soaks up the red in sunlight." Sound: dripping water and a low hollow wind.

The case: a faceless fact short with no stock footage

Faceless channels live on short facts over striking visuals. The hard part is the visuals: stock clips rarely match the fact, and the same few clips show up on every channel.

Our brief was one fact, why glacier ice looks blue, told in five seconds of vertical video with a narrator and burned in captions. No camera, no stock library.

Vertical clips for a faceless channel

Each 9:16 clip below was made on Pixel Dojo with the prompt shown on its tile, sound included.

A street food hook on Veo 3.1 Lite for 6 credits.

Vertical handheld shot at a busy night market: a cook in his fifties pinches a dumpling closed and drops it into a steaming bamboo basket, then grins at the camera and says, "Forty a minute, every night." Steam, string lights, sizzling pans and crowd chatter.

A craft reel on Kling 3.0.

Vertical close up of a glassblower in her thirties turning a glowing orange blob of molten glass on a long pipe, then blowing gently as it swells into a bubble, furnace glow, roar of the furnace and a soft hiss.

A satisfying loop on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits.

Vertical macro shot: a single drop of indigo ink falls into a clear glass of water and blooms into slow curling clouds that spread and twist, backlit against a bright white background, soft plop and gentle bubbling.

Moody B-roll on P-Video for 3.75 credits.

Vertical time lapse of dark storm clouds rolling over a golden wheat field at dusk, wind sweeping waves through the stalks, a flash of distant lightning, low rumble of thunder.

From a blank page to a captioned short in three steps

Each step used the output of the step before. Each tile shows the settings and credits it used.

Step 1, Nano Banana 2.1: a vertical view from inside a blue glacier ice cave toward a hiker at the bright opening

Vertical documentary photo looking out from inside a glacier ice cave, walls of deep translucent blue ice with rippled texture, a hiker in her forties in an orange jacket standing at the bright cave mouth, cold daylight, wide lens, crisp detail.

  • Auto Captions transcribed the line correctly and highlighted each word as it was spoken, for 5 credits.

What made the difference in this case

  • Footage that fits the fact

Every shot is generated for the line it sits under, so the visuals match the script instead of approximately matching it.

  • Voice in the same render

Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 make narration and sound with the picture. For a separate voice track, use text to speech.

  • A whole series on autopilot

Our faceless video generator is built for this kind of channel, and Sensei can plan and price a batch of shorts before it runs.

  • Same face every episode

If your channel has a host, Character Studio keeps them consistent by @name in any prompt.

When SendShort is the better pick

If you already film long videos, podcasts or streams and want them cut into captioned clips and scheduled to TikTok and YouTube, SendShort is built for that job, and its fixed monthly short counts are easy to budget.

If you need the footage itself, generated to match each line, we think Pixel Dojo is the better studio for a faceless channel.

What our short cost

The still cost 1.5 credits, the narrated clip 30 credits on Seedance 2.5 and the captions 5 credits. Every tile lists its own price.

Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits. Every plan includes every model and commercial use.

Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.
