Bing Image Creator alternative
Bing Image Creator alternative for when one free model is not enough
Pixel Dojo puts GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5, FLUX 3 Image and Ideogram 4.5 on one plan, with any aspect ratio the model supports and the credit price on every model page.
Bing Image Creator is a fine free place to start. We wanted to show what you get when you outgrow it, so we wrote one hard prompt, with a sleeping cat, a bicycle and painted lettering, and ran it on four models we carry.
2.5 credits ($0.16) per image at 2K. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

More from the same plan
We made each of these on Pixel Dojo with the prompt shown. Tap one to start from it.

GPT Image 2.5 set the title and all three steps cleanly in a tall card format.
Recipe card illustration titled "ROASTED PUMPKIN SOUP" with three short numbered steps in neat handwritten lettering: 1. Roast the pumpkin 2. Blend with stock 3. Finish with cream. Watercolor pumpkins and a steaming bowl, cream paper texture.

A 21:9 panorama on Nano Banana 2.1, wider than any Bing preset.
Ultra wide panorama of a desert salt flat at dusk, a mirror thin layer of water reflecting pink and violet clouds, a lone cyclist far in the distance, low mountains on the horizon.

Macro on Z-Image Turbo for a quarter of a credit.
Macro photograph of a honeybee dusted in pollen on a blue borage flower, morning dew on the petals, creamy green background, 100mm macro lens.
When a still should move: WAN 3.0 video with rain and traffic sound built in.
A red paper boat sails down a rain filled gutter past glowing shop windows at dusk, the camera following low beside it, droplets splashing, rain patter and distant traffic.
Where Bing Image Creator runs out
Bing Image Creator is free with a Microsoft account. Its help page lists 15 fast creations a day, after which images move to a slower standard speed unless you spend Microsoft Rewards points.
It runs Microsoft's own MAI image models, five aspect ratio presets and up to 200 prompts in 24 hours. Work and school accounts cannot use it at all.
If you need a specific model for text, a wide banner, a product shot or a matching video, you need more than one engine. That is the gap we set out to test.
One rainy bookshop prompt on four engines
We gave the same prompt to four image models: a cat, a stack of books, a bicycle at a lamp post and the words OPEN LATE on the glass. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

Wide photograph of a narrow bookshop at night in the rain, a tabby cat asleep on a stack of books in the lit front window, hand painted gold lettering on the glass reading "OPEN LATE", a bicycle leaning on the lamp post, warm light spilling onto wet cobblestones.

- All four spelled OPEN LATE correctly and put the tabby cat asleep on books in the lit window.
- GPT Image 2.5 told the most story, with an open door, a chalkboard sign and a church spire down the wet street, plus shop signs of its own.
- Seedream 5 gave the moodiest frame, with the bicycle leaning on the lamp post exactly as written.
- FLUX 3 Image had the cleanest lettering for 1 credit, and Nano Banana 2.1 packed the window with a lived in, cluttered shop.
Our verdict on the bookshop test
We would pick Seedream 5 for a moody poster and FLUX 3 Image for clean type on a budget. GPT Image 2.5 is our choice when the picture should tell a story.
The point is the choice itself. On one plan you can run the same prompt on four engines and keep the one that fits.
