Appy Pie API alternative
Appy Pie API alternatives: one API key for every top image and video model
Pixel Dojo's public API runs GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5, FLUX 3, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and more behind one key, with docs generated from each model's spec, prices shown before you call, API credit packs from $5 and a hosted MCP server.
The Appy Pie API pricing link now lands on Pixazo, the new name of Appy Pie Design. If you are weighing where to send your image and video calls, we ran one ecommerce brief through four image models on our API and animated the result.
2 credits ($0.13) per image at 1024x1024. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

Why this list starts with the brief, not the vendor
Appy Pie Design became Pixazo in September 2025, and the Appy Pie API pricing link now redirects to Pixazo's model pricing page. Pixazo prices each call separately and lists hundreds of models from dozens of providers.
Model counts do not ship products. What matters to a developer is which model nails your use case, what one call costs and whether the same key covers video when the product needs it. So we ran a real catalog brief and ranked by result.
What else developers call our API for
Every image and clip below came back from Pixel Dojo with the prompt shown.
The GPT Image 2.5 boots, passed to Seedance 2.5 as a start frame: a slow product orbit for a listing page.
The camera slowly orbits the pair of tan suede hiking boots on the white seamless background, soft studio light glides across the suede and the red laces, the boots stay perfectly still and unchanged. Sound: a quiet airy studio tone.

App onboarding art on Recraft V4.1 in a two color palette.
Flat vector illustration for a budgeting app onboarding screen: a smiling person watering a small potted plant whose leaves are round coins, a calendar and a piggy bank on a shelf behind, soft mint and coral palette, simple shapes, plenty of white space, no text.

A real estate listing shot on Z-Image Turbo for a quarter of a credit.
Real estate listing photograph of a white clapboard cottage at twilight, every window glowing warm, a lit porch with two rocking chairs, a picket fence and blue hydrangeas, deep blue sky, wide angle lens kept level.

A menu photo on Qwen Image 2.1 for a food delivery catalog.
Restaurant menu photograph of a stone pot bibimbap seen from a low angle, rice crust sizzling, a raw egg yolk in the center surrounded by spinach, carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms and gochujang, dark slate table, side light, steam rising.
One catalog photo brief on four image APIs
The same ecommerce prompt sent to four image models through our API: two hiking boots, one standing and one on its side, on pure white. Each tile shows what it cost.

Ecommerce catalog photo of a pair of tan suede hiking boots with red laces and chunky rubber soles, one boot standing and one lying on its side, on a pure white seamless background, soft even studio lighting, a gentle contact shadow, sharp stitching detail, no logos.

- GPT Image 2.5 framed the pair closest and showed the most sole and stitching detail, our pick for the hero shot at 2 credits.
- Nano Banana 2.1 also followed the one standing, one on its side direction and gave the boots a darker, chunkier sole.
- Seedream 5 left the most white space around the pair, handy when a template crops the image later.
- FLUX 3 Image stood both boots up instead of laying one down, but it was the cheapest at 1 credit with very clean edges.

When the Appy Pie API is the better pick
If you want one bill for a very long tail of models, including older ones, Pixazo's catalog is broader, and its per call prices are listed in dollars on one page. Some of its models, such as FLUX Schnell, are listed as free.
If you want the top models with docs written from their real input schema, an MCP server your AI tools can call, and a web studio where your team can try a prompt before it goes into code, we think Pixel Dojo is the better fit.
Pixel Dojo API pricing
API credit packs start at $5. Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits.
The four boot photos in our test cost between 1 and 2.5 credits each, and the catalog lists the price of every model before you call it.
Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.
