Bylo AI alternative

Bylo AI alternative with the newest image models, not last year's

Bylo AI puts GPT-4o Image, Nano Banana and Flux behind one cheap plan. Pixel Dojo runs their successors, GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1 and FLUX 3, next to Seedream 5, and prices each run before you click.

We gave one tricky brief to four current models: a toy figure in a blister pack with the title printed on the card. Then we recolored the result with a one line edit, the kind of job people use Bylo for.

2.5 credits ($0.16) per image at 2K. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

A toy figure in a mustard rain jacket holding a lantern, in a blister pack titled TIDE POOL SCOUT on a pegboard
Product photo of a collectible toy figure in a clear plastic blister pack hanging on a pegboard: a small explorer figure in a mustard rain jacket and rubber boots holding a tiny lantern, a little crab accessory beside it, the cardboard backing printed with the title "TIDE POOL SCOUT" in bold rounded letters and a small wave icon, glossy plastic reflections, soft studio light, sharp focus.

The FLUX 3 toy figure with its jacket and trousers recolored cobalt blue, the package and title unchanged

A one line edit on Qwen Image 2 Edit. It recolored the trousers along with the jacket, so name every part you want left alone.

Change the figure's mustard rain jacket to a cobalt blue rain jacket. Keep everything else exactly the same: the packaging, the title text, the crab, the lantern, the pegboard and the lighting.

A coloring book page of a hedgehog in a scarf reading under a mushroom among ferns and acorns

A printable coloring page on Recraft V4.1 with clean, closed outlines.

Black and white coloring book page, clean bold outlines and no shading: a hedgehog in a knitted scarf reads a book under a large mushroom, surrounded by ferns, acorns and tiny stars, plenty of open white areas to color.

Six cartoon cactus stickers in terracotta pots with different faces, one wearing sunglasses

A sticker sheet on Kling Image for 1 credit.

Sticker sheet of six cheerful cartoon cactus characters in terracotta pots, each with a different expression: waving, sleeping, laughing, wearing sunglasses, holding a tiny watering can, blushing. Thick white die cut borders, flat pastel colors, plain light gray background.

The usual advice: a cheap wrapper is all you need

Sites like Bylo AI make a fair pitch. GPT-4o Image, Nano Banana and Flux are good models, and a low monthly price for all three sounds like plenty.

We think the model generation matters more than the wrapper. Text on packaging, small props and clean edits are exactly where newer models pulled ahead, and the gap shows on one prompt.

So we skipped the old versions and tested their successors on a brief that punishes weak text and missing details.

One blister pack brief on four current image models

The same prompt on Nano Banana 2.1, GPT Image 2.5, FLUX 3 Image and Seedream 5, each at its default quality. The card had to read TIDE POOL SCOUT and the figure needed a lantern and a crab. Each tile shows what it cost.

Seedream 52.5 credits
  • All four spelled TIDE POOL SCOUT correctly on the card, the part older models often garble.
  • GPT Image 2.5 designed the most complete package, adding a coastal illustration, a tagline and a warning label on its own.
  • FLUX 3 Image and Seedream 5 got every prop in: the rain jacket, the lantern and the crab. Nano Banana 2.1 left the lantern out.
  • Seedream 5 shot it closest with a lit lantern and soft focus behind, which is why it leads this page.
