NemoVideo alternative
NemoVideo alternative: shoot the short with AI, then caption it
NemoVideo edits the footage you already have. Pixel Dojo makes the footage too: a photo becomes a talking clip on Seedance 2.5, auto captions finish it, and every step shows its price first.
NemoVideo calls itself an AI video editing agent you chat with. We wanted to see how far a creator gets with no camera at all, so we made one shop owner from a prompt, had her speak a line to camera and captioned the result. Every step is on this page.
30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

More vertical shorts made the same way
Each clip below was made on Pixel Dojo from the prompt shown, sound included.
An explainer hook on Veo 3.1 Fast. She says her line to camera with waves behind her.
Vertical medium shot of a marine biologist in her thirties crouching by a rocky tide pool, she lifts a purple sea star on her palm and says to camera, "This one can regrow a whole arm." Overcast coastal light, waves and gulls.
A satisfying how to on Kling 3.0, with pebble clinks and the spritz.
Vertical top down shot: hands drop moss, pebbles and a tiny fern into a glass jar terrarium, then mist it with a spray bottle, droplets catch the light on a sunny desk. Sound: pebbles clinking and two soft spritzes.
A food close up on Seedance 2.5 with the sound of the blade.
Vertical close up: a chef's hands slice a slab of salmon into even pieces, one long knife stroke each, and lay them on a slate board, cool counter light, crisp shallow focus. Sound: the soft glide of the blade and a quiet tap.
An outdoor b-roll shot on WAN 3.0 for 10 credits.
Vertical tracking shot of a trail runner in his thirties cresting a grassy ridge at sunrise, low clouds filling the valley below, the camera rises to reveal the view. Sound: footfalls on gravel, wind and a skylark.
Walkthrough: one photo to a captioned talking short
Three steps, each using the one before. We made the shop owner on Nano Banana 2.1, used that photo as the first frame on Seedance 2.5 with one spoken line, then ran the clip through auto captions. Each tile shows its settings and credits.

Vertical documentary photo of a picture framer in her forties with silver streaked hair and a canvas apron, standing at her workbench in a small framing shop, holding up an empty oak frame toward the camera, moulding samples on the wall behind, soft window light, 35mm look.
The framer lowers the oak frame, smiles and says to camera, "Every frame in this shop is cut and joined by hand." She sets the frame down on the bench, the camera holds steady. Sound: her voice, quiet shop room tone and a soft wooden clack.
- Seedance 2.5 kept her face, silver streaked hair, apron and the wall of moulding samples from the photo through the whole clip.
- She lowers the oak frame, speaks to camera and sets it down on the bench, the action we wrote, with her voice and the shop sound built in.
- Auto captions put her words on screen in bold white with the spoken word highlighted, ready for a silent feed.
- Three tools, one tab, and no camera or microphone at any point.
How each NemoVideo job maps to Pixel Dojo
Talk to edit becomes talk to direct
Sensei, our AI director, plans a project from a chat, prices it, waits for your approval and reviews every take before you see it.
Smart Caption becomes auto captions
Upload any clip to auto captions and get the spoken words on screen, as in step 3 above.
SmartAudio becomes text to speech and text to music
Write a voiceover script or describe a music bed. Video models such as Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 and Veo 3.1 also make sound with the picture.
Talking head edits become talking head shots
Start from one photo and give the person a line, or pair a portrait with a voice track on an avatar model.
Viral templates become any prompt
Our faceless video generator turns a topic into a captioned vertical video, and the video reframe tool turns a wide clip into 9:16.

When NemoVideo is the better pick
If you already shoot a lot of raw footage and want an agent to cut it down, NemoVideo is built for that job. SmartPick removes unusable clips and selects highlights, and its talking head editor adds b-roll to footage you recorded.
Its Inspiration Center also suggests scripts from video trends, which suits creators who post daily and want ideas handed to them.
If you have no footage yet, or want the newest video models to make it, we think Pixel Dojo is the faster route from idea to posted short.
