How to make an AI video from one sentence
Write one sentence, make a still, then animate it in Canvas. Two clicks from idea to a cinematic shot.
You need: An idea for one shot. Nothing to upload. · Start to finish, step 2 of 10
Step by step
Open Canvas
Everything happens in the bar at the bottom: choose what to do, choose a model, describe it.
Make the image first
Pick an image model (Flux 2 Flex is quick and sharp) and set 16:9 for widescreen. A still is cheap, so you lock the look before you pay for motion.
Describe the subject, setting and light
Be specific: "A cozy lighthouse on a rocky cliff at golden hour, waves crashing below." Light is the line most people skip, and it does the most work.
Switch to Animate
Canvas passes your image straight into the next step. Pick a video model such as Kling Video, which gives natural motion and can add sound.
Describe the motion, not the picture
The image already holds the look. Now say how the camera moves, what moves in the scene and the mood: "A slow push-in, crashing waves, gliding seagulls."
Download, upscale or extend
Hover the result to download it, upscale it or extend it into a longer scene. Queue your next idea while a video renders.
Why it works
- Image first, then video. You judge the frame for a few credits instead of rerolling whole clips.
- Motion prompts that name the camera move (push-in, orbit, tracking shot) read more cinematic than ones that only describe the scene.
Made this way
Your practice task
Make a still of a place you know, then animate it with one camera move and one thing that moves in the scene.

In the next two minutes, you'll turn a single sentence into a cinematic video using Canvas in PixelDojo. No editing skills required. Frankly, not many skills at all. Head to PixelDojo and open Canvas. Everything happens in this bar at the bottom. Choose what to do. Choose a model and describe it. We'll start with an image. Click the model button to open the picker. Every model shows its cost in credits on the right. We'll take Flux 2 Flex. It's quick, it's sharp, and it costs two credits. Flux lets you pick the shape of your frame. Choose 16 by 9 for proper widescreen. Now describe your shot. Be specific about the subject, the setting, and the light. A cozy lighthouse on a rocky cliff at golden hour, waves crashing below. Press Generate. And a few seconds later, look at that. Now let's bring it to life. Switch the mode from Generate to Animate. Canvas passes your image straight into the next step automatically. Open the picker again and search for Kling. Kling Video gives natural, expressive motion, and it can even add sound. This time, describe the motion, not the picture. How the camera moves, what moves in the scene, and the mood. A slow push-in, crashing waves, gliding seagulls. Click Animate Image. Video takes a minute or two, so feel free to queue up your next idea while you wait. And there it is. One sentence, two clicks. One rather lovely shot. To keep it, hover over your result and hit Download. Or keep going and upscale it. Or extend it into a longer scene. That's your first AI video. Next time, we'll keep the same character consistent across every shot. See you then.
