How to edit an image with a text prompt
Upload a photo, describe the change, keep everything else. Then upscale it to 4K in one click.
You need: One photo you want to change. · Start to finish, step 3 of 10
Step by step
Open an image model and add your photo
Open Seedream 5, click Add image and upload a photo or pick one from your library. The composer switches to edit mode.
Describe only the change
Say what changes and what stays: "Turn it into a snowy winter night with the northern lights, and keep the keeper exactly the same." Naming what stays is what keeps the subject untouched.
Click Edit
A few seconds later you have the same person, the same coat, a different night.
Upscale the keeper
Hover the result and click Upscale. It opens in the upscaler already loaded: Creative mode adds real detail and 2x takes it to about 4,000 pixels.
Save it as a workflow
Want this look on every photo? Describe the steps to Sensei or any AI connected to PixelDojo, name the workflow, and run it by name next time.
Why it works
- Edit prompts work best as one instruction plus one "keep" clause. Stacking five changes in one edit blurs all of them.
- Upscale last. Every edit after an upscale throws the extra detail away.
Your practice task
Take a daytime photo and turn it into night without changing the people in it.

The first result is rarely the final one. Today, how to edit any image with words, upscale it to 4K, and save the whole recipe as a workflow you can reuse. Open an image model, like Seedream 5. Click add image, then upload a photo, or pick one from your library. The composer switches to edit mode. Now just describe the change. Turn it into a snowy winter night, with the northern lights, and keep the keeper exactly the same. Click edit, and give it a few seconds. Same man. Same coat. Same lighthouse. A completely different night. Hover the result, and click upscale. It opens in the magnific upscaler, already loaded. Creative mode adds real detail, and 2X takes it to 4000 pixels. Drag the slider to compare. Before, and after. Now, what if you want this look on every photo? Save it as a workflow. In Claude, or any AI connected to PixelDojo, describe the steps, and give it a name. Claude saves the workflow, finds the photo, and runs each step in order. You just approve. And there it is. A summer cabin turned into a winter night, and upscaled to 4K from one message. Next time, just say, run SnowNight 4K. That's it. See you in the next one.
