How to use saved characters and products in AI video
Save a character or product once, attach both in Video Studio, call them by name and keep every clip on model.
You need: A saved character and a saved product from your Library.
Step by step
Open Video Studio on Make
One composer runs every video model, with your saved characters and products one click away.
Attach your character
Click the plus above the prompt, open Characters and Elements and press Attach whole asset on your character. All of their photos come along.
Attach your product
Click the plus again, find your saved product and press Attach whole asset.
Write the scene around the names
Tap a tile to drop its name into the prompt: "@Juniper holds the pink @DEWLINE bottle up beside her face, label toward the camera, then spritzes it." Describe what they do with the product, and where.
Pick the quality, then generate
1080p for five seconds is 80 credits, shown on Generate. A few minutes later you have the same face and the same bottle in a new scene. Press Save to keep it, or Extend to make it longer.
Why it works
- One saved asset beats a paragraph of description. The model copies a reference far better than it follows adjectives.
- Products read best when the prompt gives them an action and an angle: held up, label toward the camera, spritzed, poured, worn.
Made this way
Your practice task
Save one product, then make two clips with it in two different places.

Put your saved character and product in one Video Studio clip, using named references to build a new scene. In Video Studio, stay on Make. One composer runs every video model, with saved characters and products close at hand. Click the plus above the prompt to add your first asset. The Add Image window gives you two starting points. Upload a picture from your device, or choose an image already saved in your library. Open Characters and Elements to see your saved assets. Here, Juniper has four reference photos. Press Attach Whole Asset Beside Her Name to bring all four into the composer. Juniper now sits above the prompt, with a four on her tile for the attached photos. Click the plus again to add the product alongside her. Back in Characters and Elements, find your saved product. We're using the Dooline Rose Water Face Mist. Press Attach Whole Asset Beside That Product to add it. Tap Juniper, then Dooline, to insert their at names. Write the scene around those references. Juniper holds the pink bottle beside her face, labeled toward the camera, then spritzes it and smiles on a sunlit balcony. Choose 1080p for quality. For this 5-second clip, the Generate button shows 80 credits, so you can check the cost before pressing Generate. Once generation finishes, you have the same face and the same bottle in a brand new scene. Press Save to keep your clip, or choose Extend to make it longer. Attach both assets, name them, and generate. Next, try another scene with the same character and product.
