MagicShot alternative

MagicShot alternative: from one packshot to a styled photo and a video

Pixel Dojo takes a product photo through a styled photoshoot and into motion on one plan, with Nano Banana 2.1 for the shots, Seedance 2.5 for the video and the credit price shown before every step.

MagicShot bundles image, video, photoshoot, photo editing and audio tools under one subscription. We ran the chain a small shop actually needs, start to finish: a clean packshot, a lifestyle scene with the same product, then a short pouring clip.

30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

A hand lifts the teapot by its cane handle and pours a thin stream of golden tea into one of the cups, steam curling up in the window light, the camera slowly pushes in. Sound: a soft pour, a ceramic clink and quiet morning birdsong.

How we took one product from packshot to video

  1. 1

    Shoot the packshot

Nano Banana 2.1 made a clean studio photo of a speckled stoneware teapot with a cane handle on white, for 1.5 credits.

  2. 2

    Style the photoshoot

We gave that photo to Nano Banana Edit and asked for the same teapot on an oak table by a window with two cups, linen and lavender. It kept the glaze and the handle.

  3. 3

    Make it move

Seedance 2.5 used the styled photo as its first frame: a hand lifts the pot and pours, with steam and sound built in.

These are the three outputs exactly as the models returned them. Each tile shows the prompt, settings and credits it used.

Step one: a speckled oatmeal stoneware teapot with a cane handle on a white background

Clean e-commerce packshot of a handmade speckled stoneware teapot with a cane handle and a matte oatmeal glaze, centered on a seamless white background, soft even studio light, gentle contact shadow, sharp detail.

Step two: the same teapot on a weathered oak table by a sunny window with two cups and a linen napkin

Keep this exact teapot, same shape, speckled glaze and cane handle. Place it on a weathered oak table by a sunny window with two small matching cups, a linen napkin and a sprig of dried lavender, steam rising from the spout, warm morning light, lifestyle product photography, shallow depth of field.

  • The styled photo kept the exact teapot from the packshot, from the speckles in the glaze to the wrapped cane handle.
  • The edit added matching speckled cups and a sprig of lavender, so the scene reads as one product line.
  • Seedance 2.5 poured a thin stream of tea into the cup and left it full at the end, the moment a shop wants on a product page.
  • Each still cost 1.5 credits and the 5 second clip cost 30, all priced on screen before we pressed generate.
