Remaker AI alternative

Remaker AI alternative: swap, fix and animate in one studio

Pixel Dojo does the jobs people open Remaker AI for, face swaps, headshots, object removal and quick designs, on the image models built for each one, and then turns the photo into a clip.

Remaker AI is a toolbox of quick photo tools, best known for face swap. We tested the same jobs here with faces we generated ourselves, because a swap should only ever use a face you made or one whose owner said yes.

30 credits ($1.88) per 5 s clip at 720p with audio. Included in every plan, from $10/month.

The baker slides the tray of braided loaves fully out of the oven, sets it on the counter, looks up toward the window and smiles as flour drifts through the warm light, slow push in. Sound: the oven door creak, a tray landing on wood and a quiet bakery hum.

Six Remaker AI jobs and where to do them here

  • 1. Face swap on a photo

Give Nano Banana 2.1 or GPT Image 2 Edit two images and say whose face goes where. Both models read the whole scene, so the light on the new face matches the room. We only swap between faces we generated, and so should you: a face you made, or one whose owner agreed.

  • 2. Face swap in a video

WAN Video Character Swap puts a face from one image into an existing clip. Often the better route is to animate the swapped photo instead, as we did for the clip above on Seedance 2.5.

  • 3. AI headshots

Hand Nano Banana 2.1 one clear portrait as a reference and describe the outfit and setting. Our corporate headshot below kept the face, beard and hairline from the studio shot it came from.

  • 4. Magic eraser

Qwen Image 2 Edit removes what you name and fills the gap. We cleared the jars and bags off a bakery counter and nothing else moved.

  • 5. Tattoo and art designs

Seedream 5 draws clean flash sheets with bold linework. Our six design sheet cost 2.5 credits.

  • 6. Keep the face for later

Save a character in Character Studio and call it by @name in any prompt, on any model, instead of swapping it in again each time.

The Nano Banana 2.1 swap used as a first frame on Seedance 2.5, with sound built in.

The baker slides the tray of braided loaves fully out of the oven, sets it on the counter, looks up toward the window and smiles as flour drifts through the warm light, slow push in. Sound: the oven door creak, a tray landing on wood and a quiet bakery hum.

A corporate headshot of the same generated man in a navy blazer and white shirt in a bright glass office

An AI headshot on Nano Banana 2.1 from one reference photo.

Use the reference image as the identity reference: keep the same man, his close cropped curly black hair greying at the temples, short salt and pepper beard and hazel eyes. Professional corporate headshot of him in a navy blazer over a white open collar shirt, standing in a bright glass walled office with soft bokeh behind him, warm confident smile, natural window light, 85mm lens.

The bakery photo with the counter and shelf on the left cleared of jars and bags

Magic eraser on Qwen Image 2 Edit. The baker, loaves and oven are untouched.

Erase all the jars, paper bags and clutter from the wooden counter and the shelf on the left so the counter is clear and clean. Keep the baker, his pose, the tray of braided loaves, the oven, the window and the light exactly the same.

A tattoo design sheet on Seedream 5.

Tattoo flash sheet of six original designs on cream paper: a swallow carrying a sprig of olive, a pine tree inside a circle, a koi fish in waves, a crescent moon with three stars, a compass rose and a peony, bold black linework with red and sage fills, evenly spaced, crisp scan of real ink.

One generated face, one bakery photo, two swap models

Both people below were generated on Nano Banana 2.1 and do not exist. We asked two models to put the first man's face on the baker and keep everything else. Each tile shows the prompt, settings and credits it used.

The face: a generated man with close cropped curly black hair greying at the temples and a short salt and pepper beard

Studio headshot of a fictional man in his forties with close cropped curly black hair greying at the temples, a short salt and pepper beard, deep brown skin and hazel eyes, wearing a charcoal crew neck sweater, facing the camera with a relaxed closed mouth smile, plain stone grey backdrop, soft key light, sharp detail.

The photo: a generated red haired baker pulling a tray of braided loaves from a deck oven

Candid photograph of a fictional baker in his thirties with a red buzz cut and pale skin, a flour dusted navy apron over a white tee, lifting a tray of braided loaves out of a deck oven in a small bakery at dawn, warm oven glow, flour hanging in the air, 35mm film look.

Nano Banana 2.1 swap: the same bakery and pose, now with the curly haired, bearded face looking down at the tray

Face swap between two generated photos: put the face, close cropped curly black hair and short salt and pepper beard of the man in the second image onto the baker in the first image. Keep everything else from the first image exactly: his pose, the flour dusted navy apron and white tee, the tray of braided loaves, the oven glow, the bakery and the framing.

GPT Image 2 Edit swap: the same bakery with the new face turned toward the camera and smiling

GPT Image 2 Edit5 credits
  • Both models carried over the face, the greying curls and the beard, and kept the apron, the loaves and the oven glow.
  • Nano Banana 2.1 held the original pose exactly, eyes down on the tray, which is what a swap usually needs. It cost 1.5 credits.
  • GPT Image 2 Edit turned the head toward the camera with a smile, a friendlier shot that changes the moment. It cost 5 credits.
  • The Nano Banana swap then became a 5 second Seedance 2.5 clip with sound, one more step on the same plan.

When Remaker AI is the better pick

If you want one quick swap now and then, Remaker's small one time packs and credits that do not expire suit that. Its swap page also says uploaded and generated images are deleted within 48 hours.

If you make images and video every week, we think one plan with the models behind every one of those tools goes further. You get the swap, the headshot, the edit and the clip in one place, each priced before you click.

What each Remaker job cost here

Plans are Lite $10 a month for 160 credits, Pro $25 for 500 credits, Pro Max $50 for 1,100 credits. Commercial use is included on every plan.

The Nano Banana 2.1 swap, the headshot and the eraser edit cost 1.5 credits each, the GPT Image 2 Edit swap cost 5, and the bakery clip cost 30. Each tile lists its own price.

Under our refund policy, a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days, in full if under 20% of the credits are used and pro-rated after that.
